Far from finished but will return later.
DMV (Apr 6, 2004)
like the colors you used... if you us smooth your lineart on the face and add some shading on the jaw line and chin it would look better ,but hey just my opinion:)
GraceC (Apr 6, 2004)
I agree with DMV!!! Very nice lines and use of color! ^_^

Wanting the colors not to clash but to blend using the tones of red
davincipoppalag (Apr 4, 2004)
Looks good Pandora.. maybe a touch more blending on the dark/light areas on the cheks but this looks good

Can someone tell me, how can I correct smudges after the color is applied and to get that same color again is difficult. My other question is how do you apply reflections. Such as making glass. Any suggestions. Thanks everyone.
davincipoppalag (Mar 31, 2004)
If you want an exact color match..just put your pointer on the color you want and right click.. it picks it right up. Reflections are harder. A light color with very low opacity in a small spot..with part of the low opacity area brightened up some with the dodge and burn tools. I frankly forget which is the dodge and which is the burn... but basically one of them makes things in the gray range lighter and the other makes it darker.. send a memo to someone who has done really good ones and ask them how they did it I am sure they will tell you. Hope this helps some..
Pandora (Mar 31, 2004)
davincipoppalag..thank you for answering and explaining everything to me. It sounds so easy just to click on the color and pick up the same one..I have to admit I was struggling. Looking forward to the day of understanding all the tools. Sorry to be a pest. Much thanks again,Alway's looking for suggestions how to improve.

Isn't it terrible? I find myself here when I should be doing other things, and I just can't stop! This is nicely done, I like her position and the colors. |
