Yesss~, it's my best friend, Natuki. Funny, I had totally different expression in mind, but it came out like this... nevertheless, I like this one. Must be the slight improvement in shading.You're right, I came up with nothing special with the background. ._.' *talking to noises*

I like to draw this "me"-character a lot. Though my friend came up with it in the first place, it's developed quite a lot during past two years I've been using this.Today I put on a ponytail such as in the picture, it's small and soft and makes the back of my head throb. Maybe it's too tight..? Actually I even wear a leather jacket and beep so this is pretty much _me_ here. |

People say (okay, not really) that I don't opinionate stuff or share my feelings in my drawings. Like the eyes, though.If someone would give me a few pointers of what tools to use in shading, it would be great.

You already have a nice shading style going on with your shadows. Lovely eyes. Play around with the watercolour brush next time and see if you like the results.

I think this is awesome, Great lineart. I use a combo of the pen and airbrush tools to shade, but I am not good at cel shading at all, in fact, I suck at it unless I'm copying a picture. I lurve his shiny eyes! |

It's Tony Tony Chopper from what I think is the best manga/anime on globe, One Piece by Eichiiro Oda!He is a blue-nosed reindeer who accidentally ate a Hito Hito Fruit and became half reindeer, half man. Now outcast from both humans and reindeers he is at loss of friends. That's why he doesn't have that much selfconfidence. Nevertheless he tries his best to help the few friends he has and aspires to become the world's greatest doctor! Too bad his mighty antlers couldn't fit in! Finished!

Ish so kyute! I read One Piece, but I haven't seen him yet. He looks so cute and innocent! I like the shading. Makes it look like it came straight fropm the colored pages of the manga!

Cause a strange twist of nature makes us weird furries always create fursonas of themselves, I drew myself. It's now about a year-and-a-half old character now and my best friend came up with it in the first place. Cheers, Janita! ^-^Any tips on shadowing/illuminating characters? If anyone could link me with online tutorials I'd be thankful. Finished!

I actually used the school's mouse while drawing this. An ordinary ball-mouse, and I wish I had the inspiration to draw at home, too, since I have an optical one there. |
