Well, one of your best, you went all out with the detailing and coloring on this one (who says you can't do coloring silly boy) and the textures you used especially on her bodice are great. So colorful, and unique clothing. One of my faves of yours, well done.

Thanks, Im surprised anyone would of remembered what a bodice was. I feel bad for those women, having to basically tie a rope around their bust for hours on end.

Welcome to 2draw.You should practice some more in Beginners before you post here on Intermediate. The lineart needs to be a lot cleaner and smoother. Try using the pen tool for smoother lines. Like the colors, but not your attitude. :| And I think you should cool it with the criticism of what other people say on here. They've been here a lot longer than you have and developed bonds with each other. So you wouldn't understand the inside jokes, such as "boobs cam". You shouldn't be quick to judge or assume.

Mocha...... I kiss you for saying what I always say, sometimes I get very very repetitive.~@~An addendum vegetable, if you go on with your critisism before getting to know anyone here first..... you'll find yourself very lonely. And everything she said about this picture is spot on. Using the airbrush or watercolor tool will give you smoother lines, and being bolder with the shading and highlight will make this more dimensional, and a different colored bg would work better. And as Mocha said, start on begginers to get to know the tools and progress before you make your way to Intermediate. If your not sure, please read the rules.

I agree with you, Hokori. Women are much more fun to draw. All the reasons you listed are exactly why I like drawing women, lol. Also, I've never really tried drawing men. >_> I like the background the most, it gives the drawing more character. Did you forget to shade the bow? o_O

I draw women a lot because it's easier, but if you don't draw men on occasion you'll find it hard in the future, as with all things it's ggod practice.And damn now I want to read the whole story and find out what the hells going on. The beggining I thought something totally different was happening. It's morbid, and freakifying, and well done. The picture that is.

i think i may still edit this.... the more i look at it the more i get mad... i think i need to change the eyes, the mouth looks a little small... and the skin could go darker... argh... and all this will probably add another hour or so of work...

OMG HIRO! I love Heroes and I love Hiro. He's so adorable.Yea, I think you need to add pupils to his eyes, make his mouth a tiny tiny bit bigger..smooth out his hair and skin, and it'll be better. :D Good job so far!

I really like the perspective and the hair..but I noticed the the left eye (our right) is a little far up or the right eye is too far down >_>. Otherwise, this is awesome! :D

Long time commenting. I love everything about this, to the deep reds in the bg, dress and hair (my God that hair, so amazing) to the skin tones and the blade. Even the sketchy lines work. And good job on the perspective. I agree with Mocha but I think it's more her right eye needs to be raised, not her left lowered but it's really minor in comparison to the rest of the piece. Welcome and please stick around and do more. |
