ok so how DO you grab the colors off the canvas? I see little 'blobs' of paint people have on the canvas sometimes and wonder how they do match it perfectly each time. I just usually do a lot of guessing/checking myself.

Miss D right clicking on the colors does it. It's like the dropper in Paint. I do sometimes make little color blobs but if your shading or blending then the color blobs won't match the painting. I think it was discussed on another piece Marcello drew. If you have a tablet the button on the pen can pick up colors too. *smoochies*

Hey, I actually remembered that I wanted to comment on this one...just another one of those times I thought I had commented, but hadn't. I like the subtle waves and the simplicity of the debris in the foreground. It's kinda funny though, cause it feels peaceful, yet it seems abandoned and kinda creepy. Sometimes, just implications of what is there can give you a nice product. Well done, davinci :).

i canny seem to find the comment where Artiste reveals her (it is a her isnt it?) tricks of the trade.. something about lines bein used almost exclusively, keeping opacity down (around 100 or so).. being able to control exactly where u wanna draw.. just give it a go. Everyone should try usin lines! :D its mouse compatible which was the main advantage for me

people say "i miss when girls looked like girls" but when it comes right down to it, us girls with figures get overlooked a helluva lot. it's become pop culture and mature to draw up that sort of opinion in the situation.

onto the art though, if i could fave i would, this is an exelent piece of art, why it's in begginer i dunno. you seem to grasp oekaki, and have artistic skill. but anyways, i love this... very much so [less-than three]
