You would think drawing yourself would be easy seeing how you look at your own face in the mirror all the time......but nope!
Anyway, having a REALLY rough time with this, perhaps i didn't pick the best photo to use

I think the flower looks good but the red letters sort of jump out at you and take away from that. o_O;

I agree. The flower is nice, the colors are awesome! I think it's nice to let the picture itself tell you what it wants you to see, rather than seeing text. Keep drawing and welcome! -Donna

I like how i did the girls hair but i'm not that good at faces so...yeah!!! How do you guess like it?? I'd like to get comments!!! Please...it's not a cyclops anymore but it wouldn't let change the name but....

I like her hair too! As far as faces go, I'm no expert at ALL, but, I would suggest that you just keep drawing and drawing and drawing and looking at other people's methods of drawing faces, then you will incorporate what works best for you.

dj gives good advice.

use the pen tool, not the pencil tool. don't increase the zoom, it looks blocky. try drawing from photographs or pictures other people have drawn instead of drawing out of your head, at least until you have a better understanding of anatomy and shading. mazi has a number of tutorials you might want to check out in the forums under "drawing discussion."
