I'm kinda seeing an armor, maybe that of a knight's, kinda shattering away. In a way, I can kinda see how that may be related to stress too.
staci (Jan 4, 2008)
wow!i love love love all the textures in this, very cool. it has so much movement and kapow. i know you use the tools to create but it really looks like every form, every detail is carefully planned and placed. i like the grey-scale, i think it would have been too much in full on color.
Miss_DJ (Jan 5, 2008)
thanks very much! yeah, some people just like to use a couple of tools..I love them all..!
fleeting_memory (Jan 13, 2008)
Whoa. This is really trippy! It has a very shattered look to it. Wonderful. |

thank you so much (:
lori (edited Dec 12, 2007)
if your feeling is as you say, maybe you can be as forgiving as he was...?I do not know. It takes ALOT of concentration for me to find answers I need that way. I wish you luck, nevertheless, in whatever path you choose. All I really remember of my particular religion is reading the entire bible when I was about 7. Since, I have had my own son and now they have much more comprehensible bibles :) So, I took the wrong rd., nevertheless... and this is what I got. ok? Just think about that and go with your own personal instinct, that's my opinion. Throws hands up.....;)
Miss_DJ (edited Jan 13, 2008)
the most important thing to remember, in my opinion..is to always remember He will never give up on you. Many things are difficult, if not impossible in this realm, to understand about the mind of God. That's where Faith comes in....and trust. The timing of God is perfect. I believe this now more than I ever have. Just always know that He loves you, and created you to be who you are, and has a plan for your life. When my son was O D' ing on Crack and Heroin at age 14, I could have screamed where were YOU GOD! But, it was Him who saved his life. Him that carried ME, too, through that hell. Now, 8 years later, my son is fully committed to being clean/sober and has turned his will and life over to the care of God. He says he's the happiest he's ever been in his life since making the decision to serve Him. I believe in miracles. The impossible becomes possible, with God. I hope you find your way back to Him, too.
Cameo (edited Jan 13, 2008)
The particular passage you are speaking about was set in the time of the Church at Corinith. This was a church just starting out. In this church, the women sat on one side of the church and the men sat on the other. When something was said that the women didn't understand they would call out to their husbands and ask them what it meant. That was when Paul wrote this in the bible, addressed to this church. That was how my preacher once explained it to me and it certainly makes sense. If you will study the Bible a little more, you will find that there are many women in the Bible that preached the gospel. I think one of them was Phoebe. I hope that helps you some. Please don't give up on God! God won't let go of you if you will look to Him. :o) |

such a silly little girl with a silly little hat She brought this hat to her Mommy at bedtime and was determined to wear it to bed that night. Still had it on in the morning. She is my youngest Grand daughter Gabby. And very determined at the age of 1. My precious girl!
davincipoppalag (May 19, 2007)
It's beautiful , susie!
KuteDymples (May 20, 2007)
Thank you Sir Dave! She is my fav. subject to draw. I really would have loved to have added some more details and kind of fixed her right eye (our left) a little more but beggers can't be choosey in my case. I was so grateful for getting just the space to get it to this point I wasn't going to hang myself and ask for more. I just have to learn to use my space better somehow. Gonna miss you at the other place! :(
enjoydotcom (May 20, 2007)
For something this sweet, you shouldn't hessitate to ask for more space. Gosh, I've asked for an upsizings on much less than this :D
Miss_DJ (Jan 13, 2008)
ADORABLE! I love her skin tones, you captured the 'babyness' so nicely! |

More realism...I am really trying to work on conserving space as I draw. If I get enough practice maybe I can move up to a higher board and have the space I need. Thanks again Klox!
lori (May 20, 2007)
a fine lookin feline.. well done!
emmamommalag (May 21, 2007)
Such expression on his face! This is wonderful, Kute.
KuteDymples (May 21, 2007)
Thank you Hunterkiller, dave, lori and momma! To me it still looks unfinished. But this was for me, sort of like the portrait was for Dave. It scared the crap out of me to try it seeing how some other artists can make fur so lifelike. I knew I was not going to be able to succeed in that, but DONE is what I am here. I don't have to guts to even try to fix this or work on it anymore. I guess that is why my stuff never really looks too finished, cause I am a coward. LOL
Miss_DJ (Jan 13, 2008)
really nice job on this Kute! |
