Thank you. I'll have to look her up--don't know the name. I wasn't trying to make it look like anyone in particular, it sort of took shape after a lot of doodling. Well, it's a little belated, but, in honor of my mother just the same (9/10/38 - 4/29/07). I always do a drawing in honor of my mom about twice a year, her birthday and the day of her passing. My mother LOVED yellow, flowers mainly, but I decided to do something a lil different this time. She had this pink ceramic piggy bank all my life that she kept change in and then stored on the highest shelf possible (away from lil hands). I always loved it! When I saw this yellow guy, I knew it was 'the one' this time....thanks for lookin'!

I like yellow too. But I hate orange. This is an amazing yellow pig pot drawing, your mother would have loved it I'm sure.

this is me at a petting zoo, I have lost 100 pounds through bariatric surgery and still need a walker to get around, it is taking me a long time to draw this because of tremors in my right hand

thanks Suntan, I have had 5 surgeries since 2009 but the gastric bypass has been very helpful. I hope your friend does well, one thing I was warned about was the change in temprament that can occur afterwards because we can no longer rely on food to handle stress. That has been the most difficult thing to deal with but I hope it will pass. It is important for your friend to talk with the bariatric team if something like that becomes a problem

oh boy..thanks for telling me that. He's a very volatile guy and for all the months (year) of getting ready for this I've never heard him mention that..and he's talked about this a lot with his friends. Good to know. Thank you. Hope you have continued success. :)

another thing to add Suntan, is a person can easily become addicted to drugs and alcohol afterwards as well, he may know this stuff but is not talking about it, luckily I don't like either one

I have noticed that painters and artists in different parts of the world, have different light in their environment, and it often makes a big difference in the lighting of their work.well, I guess that's obvious.(I'm going to go out on a big limb, right now, and say that some nations and parts of the world also have greater artists than others. Whoops, sorry that's a very racially delicate subject, but I still think that.)but it also depends on WHO is judging the art, anyway. I am biased. Haw haw.
