I am THRILLED that you recognized it to be the Cascades! Actually it IS what I see on the way to work as far as the sky and mountains are concerned. But there are fields in front of the mountains, I just used my 'artistic license' to create the lake instead. So glad you like the way it turned out!

I'm very confused poppa..the 'egg' you see is the side of her hip...you do see her from the side, no? Maybe I didn't draw it clear enough. I'm gonna refine it a bit to see if that helps.
