I like him better than the last one of him I drew, thanks to the people who must have deleted the last pic of him. His name is Storm, and yes he is a drawing of my actual betta. For those of you who dont know what bettas are they are of corse fish ^__^

This one is getting a lot of attention (Marcello sent me the link) and I think we all can appreciate the humor involved here. nice rant. i agree. copying is a fine exercise as long as you credit the original photo. using your own voice is always a greater risk--which is why it's much more fun on all sides. in the fine art world, artists who do this sort of thing always add an indicator in the title. they'll say, "after ____insert artist's name". what gets me are those "pros" in galleries who blatantly lift another artist's style and call it their own. |

I'm in one of those depressed moods, i felt like drawing and for once was able to put my emotions on paper... Big thing for me!! =) Edit: please dont take or use Saige (the woman) in any way or form.. she is my own very personal creation.. And if you do i'll find you, gut you and stuff you with Jello!!! ^_~ Edit edit: Sorry about using so much space moderators Ahhh she is done.. now on to the background!!! ^_^
O_O I can't believe this came out so well!! I'm happy with the grass, mountain, sky, definitely the moon came out great considering I’ve never really tried to draw one, and of course I’m extremely happy with Saige. But the water and sand is sadly lacking talent...>_< Anyway I’m now done with it!

I like the grass and hair alot the sky is cool how its peeking out from over the mountians. i think all your hard work really shows.something about the boulders bother me they are good but the seem a bit to sharp for the distence they are.

Aahh stupid me.. the sky is all wrong, if there is light over the mountains then that mean that the sun is going up or down and the moon would not be in that position.... >.< Gah ohwell... I wanted to draw a moon so lets just say that this is a alternate universe where the sun and moon can be wherever they want to be!! ^_~Thanks for the comments you two!! ^_^ |

I am not sure I liked this one but did like the scales. (I picked the wrong color for her hair) If this doesn't belong on the intermediate boards lemme know. (tips please!!!...) I like using the airbrush but is there a way to shrink the area you are drawing? (IE size of airbrush pen?) I use the soften tool alot but it is making it more blurry than I'd like.

yes...where you select your colors (the little square ones), there should be a big bar with a number on it that is the same color as the color you picked. just pull the bar up and down to change he size.

The scales are deffinately a strong point, but I think you're right about the hair color. Overall a nice draw.---- Nice improvements. Okay not thrilled but I think that this is as good as it is going to get on this one.

Wow.. You are very talented Felistorm! I loved the green hair but it didn't go to well with the colors of the fish body.. but the brownish red/green hair pulls it together nicely!! I love how you did her face!! Another great job!! ^_^ |

something I have done forever are dragons. I haven't done any in awhile and thought it time to brush up on them. This one is a little different than my usual but I have several types. I will probobly be practicing them more. :) I had fun with this. His neck came out a little thicker than I'd have liked but something about it...didn't want to change it.
