Edging away from the realism, some cartoons! This looks very unrealistic and it's supposed to. Finally worked out the lighting. Trying to make it look cute, hopefully it worked!

I think he's cute :) I sorta had a reference but I didnt use it :P Also, I was looking at my previous pics ad their comments and I must agree I did use my ge as an excuse, especially when I was 1o. Im 12 now :) I wont use it as an excuse now though. :)

It's a school photo at Cartoon School. Very disorganised with different characters including Grumpy Gregory, Big Beau, Little Liam, Little Lewis, Crazy Catie and Grumpy Ginger (all made up by me). I'll colour them in later, I'm going to bed.

Its unfinished, just a random made up woman, no reference used. Are there any things I should do when I bother to finish it? Of course I'll fix up the hair and the shirt, but is there anything else? |

I might fix up the hair, it ended up so messy. The background was supposed to be just lights, but upon suggestion from my sister, it is a giant freckle (you know those chocolate things with hundreds and thousands on them) and the girl is lying on it. You can probably guess that by the title though :). |

Yep, Dave's the man when it comes to drawing faces. You should listen to him, he really knows what he's doing. Matter of fact, you should check out the fantasic faces he's done on his user board. I can't say you'll ever be as good as Dave, but when he gives out little gold nuggets of drawing advice.... boy I tell ya, you better listen up and listen up good! He should be teaching art classes if you ask me.

Thanks. Someone has shown me that tutorial before but I found out I drew the face too high up and so the hair was hard to do. Even though the hair tutorial is good, it's still doesn't make hair an easy thing to draw. Is Dave davincipoppalag? I'll look at his faces.

Yes, Dave is davincipoppalag. Did you go check out his awsome faces yet? Mind blowing aren't they? Like I said, if anyone around here should be giving advice on how to draw faces...it's this dude!

you can switch around layers you know, that way it doesn't matter what order you daw in. Also Happy Birthday!

This is meant to be a bully or bullyish boy who has been forced by his mother to dress up nicely for a party. It only took a short whle but I felt like doing cartoons. It's not perfect and all but I think its sorta funny. :P |
