Ahhaha, it doesn't really evoke much of a Christmas feeling, does it? 8D;;So I should say, HAPPY HOLIDAY WINTER TIME. It's my favourite time of year, except, I feel like crap right now. You've gotten sooooooooooooooo much better at drawing, its unbelievableI LOVE THIS PICTUUUUUUREEEEEEEEEEEEE I WANT ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTT I know what you COULD do for a background... sounds a bit wierd put, you could put cherry blossom trees behind him, but instead of them being pink, make them blue to bring out his eye color and contrast with his clothes and hair ^-^! osedhdgashd RAWWARR.D:

Practicing the layer thing... thanks skia, shortie, choc gum dropz, for trying to explain it to me... If all three of you didn't try to teach me I would have never got it... but I'm still learning... and the shading sucks I know... still learning that... If you have any comments on shading I would love to hear them..... :3

I'm just glad I can try and help someone to improve, even if I do sometimes stink at getting my point across. XD I've been keeping an eye out on your stuff, and I think you've got great potential. Just keep experimenting with lineart (you might especially want to try Sweetcell's idea with the airbrush) and coloring. Personally, I'd like to see more of your pictures with shading- it does wonders for dimension. All you really need to do is keep in mind which direction the light would be coming from. :3
