Thank you Sweetcell, Miss DJ, and davincipoppalaq :~) Sweetcell, a little bit. I had a big drawing urge hit while 2 draw was down for maintenance and found black and white again. The reference for this was a black & white picture and I found myself drawn to the greys, black, and white and how it suggests the feeling of color. It was fun but about half way through I started asking myself why did I try to tackle this one? There was alot of effort in it so I decided to keep persisting. Finally it started to look better and how it should. About that time my patience was running out and I decided to call it good. Thinking about it.........that's usually how it goes. lol!

I really like this, black and white is the hardest thing for me to do. Yours is pretty darned good. I wouldn't have been able to capture her like you did. This drawing really stood out to me. You need to do more of these. I likey a lot!

Thank you KuteDymples :~) The majority of pictures I draw off site are in pencil (lots of practice). I hope to someday get a better grasp on color. I see sooooo many amazing pieces and so much talent here that my mind is constantly blown away with what's being created!

The look on the birds face is priceless. Also, it all looks like it was done with watercolor. I like it :D

Thanks for the comments, it is a big encourgement for me to keep trying. I have a hard time with the applets after not being here in such along time, but I will get back to where I was and much better. I have my mind set on it. What really heps me in comments like yours and pointers. Thanks again. Happy Easter to both of you also.

Really nice skin tones and shading on her face, wish you would have tried the whole ref. pic. that would have been pretty cool. Good job on her though.

Very beautiful, very mysterious. If I might suggest just a little stronger highlights in the eyes and to darken the lids a bit more, maybe fix the hair a bit on the right. This really is nicely done Milenka.

Axil: Hmm, I think the smaller hands are part of his style. It tends to work for me, women have smaller hands and exaggerating that fact doesn't effect the overall quality of the sketch. The smaller hands are no different than any of the other exaggerations in his comic styled figures, they compliment the super small waist and huge bust. Stylistically, fuller hour-glass figures look best with smaller hands.
