I still totally agree, and I'm ... well, I'm FORTY SOMETHING! :D. The best part of high school was smoking in the bathroom, hanging out in the football player's locker room, and of course... art class. My senior art teacher was really cool, though... she had the best weed in town, and she made it a point to smoke at least one right before our class.I don't know why I thought of this just now, but one year, Just for fun, I registered for band and stayed in there about two weeks... the director's name was "Mr. Pugh"... imagine that... he was all greasy and his pants were always falling off. When I realized we were going to do nothing but play and sing "Yesterday" by the Beatles over and over and over and over again....I changed my schedule.

Now she looks like an actress, I couldn't tell you which one but she looks familiar.Evil looking, and just the right person for the crazy guy. I like how the lipstick can look like smudged lipstick or blood, cause ya know, she's all evil.

Why aren't there more comments? I mean this is awesome stuff. How did you get those blocks of colors? I envy people who can do such good solid shading. Poor T-Rex, but good job on the shiner. This piece literally explodes with anger represented by the bullet going through the heart and you can feel the emotional pain behind it. Tried to paint this way: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subtractive_color3 layers(multiply) - one color each: cyan, magenta, and yellow Theoretically you can create almost every color this way but it is crazy hard to do. ... you can also do this with permanent markers.

I was sure this was one of CMB's too..she's done some similar style pieces. This looks like those etchings you would do in school where you lay down all the color crayons on a board and then cover over with the black and scratch out the picture |

Nice to see you here again, people seem to come and go, but mostly... they go... :(. I was browsing your work from the link you provided... Is there a way to view the paintings enlarged? I tried to find a way, but couldn't seem to be able to view any of them larger.I am terribly in love with "Breakfast" :) It is simply beautiful in such an honest, innocent way. You have such a down to earth style, I love it. I'll have to keep up with your "comings and goings" now. :D

Lol all- I have a Myspace account, I have some pictures posted there, my main problem is I dont have a decent camera and the breakfast painting photo was taken some years ago- it was a commissioned piece and the owner has moved away, but I always loved it. im trying some new stuff at the moment- combining digital drawings with acrylic paintings- some look better than others- once the exhibition is up I promise to try and draw more here! regardsChris http://www.myspace.com/christinemadartist
