thanks... yeah, I'd have to agree that he is a bit psychotic, that's prob'ly why I like him, lol
Cordelia_Pink (Sep 16, 2004)
I like both versions. Maybe you should try doing this is different colors. Like the skin tone in more bluish tone or green lol. I think it would be a neat idea. But yeah, this is very well done. I really like this artist. Although some of his work is, to me, beyond bizarre but not nearly grotesque, I still admire this artist for his creative mind and wild imagination. He's a very talented artist and a complex character as well. I look at his pieces as an interpretation of his many moods and emotions. It's just like how I do my art. =)

this is bluish... am I colorblind?

"Surely just having the ability to conceive of a higher authority as a possiblility would constitute a half belief."

I can imagine a pink monkey driving a cement truck around Jupiter. I must "half believe" in that idea, right? No, I don't.

If we're talking about a belief system (multiple beliefs, not just one), you can believe in certain aspects of that system, while dismissing others, figuratively speaking that could be called "partial belief" or having "weak belief" or "weak faith", what have you. But that's in regards to a whole system of beliefs, not a single belief.

If you're talking about a single belief, you either believe it or you don't.

"Any theory or fantasy relies on the same commitment to neither side, that the truth could be one way or another."

Not knowing something (an unknown) is not equal to"half believing" in it e.g. I don't "half believe" in everything I don't know. Theory is a linear process, a process which is contingent on knowns, not unknowns. It's what we know that allows us to make theories, to fantasize, to hope, etc., not "half beliefs" or unknowns.

“Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.” ~ Benjamin Franklin

@enigma - The show you were watching, was it "Shameless"? I'm looking forward to the Showtime remake of the British series.

An agnostic is not committed to believing in either the existence or the nonexistence of God or a god. They are not half-believers or riding the fence, they simply do not believe in anything without physical proof.

In either case, I dig this picture, was it referenced or created?
enigma (Nov 8, 2010)
Yeah, it was shameless, and I'm not looking forward to the remake at all, I believe it should have stayed British.

Also, the drawing was mostly referenced, then tweaked a little.

American flag accuracy fail.

Also, I did this one because I myself am American, and I hear things constantly about our obesity issues.

Truly well done.Yes,they say,now that India and other countries have :"industrialized civilization"(i.e.,they have all our jobs and manufacturing, and business now)they are also having "obesity problems",or starting to.They;re going for more fat, sugar, less good food,so it's only a while, until they get our obesity problems with their industrial civilization.

Congrats, Moosh. Your work is always a treat to view. You're one of about 5 people I have marked to watch on DA. I like how you did the background in this portrait and the dimensional effect you achieved with the facial features is amazing.

Contest Week 101: 2draw Portrait So, basically draw someone else on the site. it can be anyone, you can ask them for a reference picture or just draw them from imagination! This is just a fun let loose contest, Obviously not everyone will be comfterable giving their pictures away, so please be ginger. Its a good way to spread the love i think, a good chance to get out of being so selfish. FOR EXAMPLE: Roytje drew [url:http://2draw.net/us...

This was supposed to be done on the contest board, but then I realized that it had to be drawn from a photo and not an oil painting, when I fully read Kloxboy's instructions a while later.
