The photo ref I painted this from is from the photographer's private collection, the woman pictured here is his wife. I wanted to paint from his online DA photo gallery and even commented that I intended to do so. Out of the blue he hit me up on MSN regarding his photos and me painting one. He showed me this private photo and suggested I paint it instead. I think it worked out nicely, she has many qualities that look good painted, even digitally. |

Dave: Thanks. The work I was avoiding wasn't so bad, it was just a little boring. Once I'm in work mode, I just go to it but sometimes I need to doodle my boredom away.
