Screaming old grape.
concannon (Aug 24, 2004)
Old grape as in it'll soon be a raisin?
Deads (Aug 24, 2004)
At first I thought it was a skull, but then I saw it was a grape... -_-" I really like it's eyes. :3

two-na (May 14, 2004)
whoa dude, you rock the horizontal, the verticle, and the added touch of buzz
Zack (May 19, 2004)
Awesome, how expressive. This is something you feel when you look at it, rather than just observe.

Don't you love when people memo you with random insults. Not only that but send some of them in Japanese, knowing well I wouldn't understand them. I did this pic just for you, this little troll is flipping you off and I added those little 'XD' you love so much. In case you don't get the message, it's telling you TO FUCK OFF! Anyone who resorts to insulting in another language has no back bone and in this case no balls. Have a nice day. XD XD XD
Kasha (Jul 3, 2004)
huh? ppl actually memo other ppl? I feel so unpopular in the cyber world. Why can't ppl memo me?! I don't really care if it's a random, "Hey, you fucking suck carpet licker!". It'll make my day.At least ppl take their time on you Clox. :(
Kloxboy (Jul 3, 2004)
True. But trust me Kasha, you don't want a memo from this person, he's a pretentious, arrogant asshole. He told me he wants me to die or that I should die, that's sad because it was unprovoked.
Aubrey (Jul 3, 2004)
~wondering who did the random acts of stupidity~ That's a nice cartoon you made up for him though. Very short and to the point. Very nice!
Mipunai (Aug 16, 2004)
People actually memo you stuff like that O_o Thats pathetic. And I agree with Aubrey about the comic |

Zack (Aug 1, 2004)
Gotta love the stepped shading (dunno if there's an official term for that) and accentuated musculature. The direction and color of the background makes me think he laid an apple. Sure looks proud of it.
davincipoppalag (Aug 1, 2004)
Yea Zack.Clox does that kinda shading alot. It lookls good, and though it looks simple, I bet it's not.
Knockoff (Aug 1, 2004)
WOW! Its clox again. No sandra or anything. Wooo! I love it. Your art is so sweet. Your style rocks. I wish you could draw more, though.
Aubrey (Aug 6, 2004)
That's great Clox, he has a very cool look about him. I happen ta like the shading as well :) |

it's great to see your style in color! I've always admired your art an youdraw. this is excellent
UppityCracker (Jan 20, 2004)
Yeah I like this, I really dig the three tone shading that you use, the out of box design is a nice touch too, my only problem with it is that the side of his head looks like it has been bashed in with a baseball bat, but other than that nice job
bumpinthenight (Jun 14, 2004)
neatoh shading style.... i love the thickness of the lines you draw... you are definately talented... :D

40 and Over Vision WearWear these and you'll be able to: -Alienate and be alienated by younger generations. -New styles of music will make you feel ill and very disturbed. -Refer to the "good old days" once or twice a day. -Reject anything that poses a threat to your routine. -Be skeptical of new ideas, feel threatened by change. -Remind anyone younger than you that "you know better". People will notice something different, something older about you, but what could it be? Just tell them "I just got me a new pair of 40 Vision's! They're Swell!" BUT remember, you don't have to put them on ...although, if you don't, you won't fit in and even worse...you won't be swell.
davincipoppalag (Jun 18, 2004)
My philosophy on that is, if you keep your toys and an appreciation of toys, you won't ever get "old" in your mind.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 18, 2004)
how comical, and yet, how true. I think most of the time I wear my "16" vision glasses... I'd like to stay just terminally in a permanent childhood. You know what this made me think of, Clox? You are still in your twenties, right?... when I was twenty-something my Grandmother told me that somewhere around thirty my "eyes" would behave like a snake shedding it's skin and I would see everything in the world so much more clearly. At the time I didn't understand what she was talking about, but sure enough, around 30 something happened and I did view things with more wisdom and understanding. Don't you think that would make a great drawing? A person with snake-skin eyes peeling off? It isn't something I could draw, but I bet you could do it! (please? :)
cmb (Jun 18, 2004)
Whoo hoo! I can wear a pair of 44's now!
Aubrey (Jun 18, 2004)
Agreed on the toy issue! You're only as old as you feel, and most people feel like kids again when they have a toy even if they're 90. If ya ever hand an old lady a doll she had as a kid I bet she could remember everywhere she played with it growing up. Time makes you age.. but the kid in you stays forever. hmm guess they don't have 21's.. dernit.. ah well, I can wait a few months for the 22's |

A portrait of my favorite TV character of all time, Archie Bunker. Actually, I hate TV fo the most part and those reality shows blow! I know, it's not photo realistic, it's not finished but it looked so painterly and cool, I say it's done. I used my mouse. Pic: http://www.angelfire.com/rings/cloxboy/archie.gif
Axil62 (Feb 8, 2004)
Clox, this is a nice surprise from you, thanks.
Look (Feb 8, 2004)
awesome portrait. It's actually nice you leave the hair unfinished, so it's more like a drawing than photo
davincipoppalag (Feb 11, 2004)
you did this with a mouse??? Incredible likeness .. I can almost hear him saying "Stifle...Edith!" wonderful..

Look (Jan 26, 2004)
I like the shading!! It's so detailed, if it's not for the lines, it'd look realistic! Great job!

Practice character for the collab battle.
Knockoff (Jun 7, 2004)
Woaw, what a big neck. His face is a bit squished, eh?This is cool. I think it would be a good character for the battle.
Pandora (Jun 7, 2004)
Oh do I like this one..He looks like he could tell us a few stories if we dared to stick around. Smiles
Kloxboy (Jun 7, 2004)
Thanks. Knockoff: You really can't tell his head and face were intentionally made narrow and ape like? To me it seems pretty obvious. In fact, that's what makes this character any bit interesting. That comment reminds me of when I drew a caricature and someone told me the head was too big for his body, when I told them it was a caricature, they told me they didn't know what a caricature was. What's more funny is this person drew a lot of bad anime, so I wonder how they can even criticize me on my proportions, which were purposely distorted, when they can't even draw normal proportions in their own work.
Zack (Jun 7, 2004)
KO was probably just pointing out the obvious, Clox. He didn't fall off the turnip truck just yesterday. It was at least a week ago. This is great. Reminds me of one of my old roommates, except this guy's less hairy. |

Ty854 (Jun 3, 2004)
Is colorist a word? oh well you are great at coloring and shading.
Kloxboy (Jun 3, 2004)
A colorist is not only a word but a profession. There are 3-D art colorists, comic book colorists and sometimes a colorist refers to someone who understands color theory. Also a colorist is also a name for a hairdresser who specializes in dyeing hair. I suggest you look it up if you don't believe me.
Ty854 (edited Jun 5, 2004)
I believe you. well then i guess theres only one thing i can say to that: you and porcalein ARE both great colorists. |
