I spent alot of time in college learning anatomy by braille.........
Kloxboy (May 31, 2004)
I can show you anatomy studies I did from high school, labeled individual parts too. My college studies are much better though. If you're interested in seeing either of them Kasha, I can send you an E-mail, or anyone else for that matter.
Kasha (May 31, 2004)
you studied anatomy in highschool? :( arrrgh, what the heck did I learn in highschool? CRAP! The only classes that I had that would help me out with art is the basic art class. One freaking semester of art! OMG!! I am totally art deprived. Truthfully, I never thought I wanted to be dealing with art until my freshmen year. Thankfully summer is here, now I can indulge myself with artful things. :D :D :D :D!!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 31, 2004)
The best way to learn is just to do it, anyway. Observe the best you can find, study it, and try to emulate it. An artist cannot be taught, only "awakened", anyway. |

Kasha (May 30, 2004)
haha, thanks Clox. I'll see about Xod. I was thinking maybe porn sites have good models but I got kinda scared about having my family come in and thinking I was some kind of weirdo. Im trying to find a simple model without any sexual gestures. So natually, porn is out of the question. Arrrgh, I have a feeling this is gonna take me ages.
Kloxboy (May 30, 2004)
This might help, or maybe notI used these books to better my antomy skills as well better myself as an artist: The Human Machine by George Briggman - a good book to learn the mechanics of anatomy Dynamic Anatomy by Burne Hogarth - great book and Hogarth is one of the best 50 Secrets of Magic Craftmanship by Salvador Dali - aside from sounding kinda insane at times, it's a great book Gray's Anatomy - this book is best for learning terms Anatomy for the Artist by Jeno Barcsay - this has great drawings in it and another good term book There are a few others I own but those I listed helped me most. Of course, don't take my word for it. <some of you are old enough to get that joke, I hope, that line is right up there with "...and knowing is half the battle"
Kasha (May 30, 2004)
ohh yay! thanks Clox.
Fin_beast (edited Aug 20, 2004)
Kasha... you are a fucking lamer... :P This rox0rz.The really soft lines and then the really dark ones really make it work. Is there a reference or is that from your head? It better not be from your head. :B I wish I had the style you have. *sigh* *stalks kasha* |

the eye! the hand! the blush!just what is she seeing?
Kloxboy (May 25, 2004)
She knows that looking directly at the camera would be kinda boring with that pose so she averted her gaze elsewhere. It's called vogue, style, creativity, it's all in the mix. Now everyone DANCE~ Nice work K, your work is scrumtrilessant.
Bronwyn (May 25, 2004)
I like the color scheme on this muchly, for some reason, even though it's so simple. And the piece is nice in its quiet expressiveness.
Childlike_Vampire (May 25, 2004)
Oh, yes, I am a Kasha fan, it is official. That hand and expression make me want to gasp just like she is. Wonderful drawing. |

I've always felt the same way as Axil said... something about the way your stuff is so free, and yet so neat and perfect at the same time. What is she looking at???!@!!!!
misterjimsan (May 24, 2004)

davincipoppalag (May 24, 2004)

MMMMMMMM? shut up.
Kloxboy (May 20, 2004)
Totally, when I first saw them on MTV I thought Craig Kilborn had started a band, hehehe.
Aubrey (May 20, 2004)
I have no idea who anyone is talking about but the picture is great! Doesn't quite look like Craig Kilborn but he has a handsome face for sure!
Kasha (May 20, 2004)
alright I'm ending the guessing game. lol, It's Josh Hommes from well, a lot of bands. Most ppl will know him by Queens of the Stoneage....I know him by Kyuss.I went to see them a few years back when they came with Trail of Dead in Houston. I loved it! I wanted to see Dave but he didn't show up. Nick is a good bass player and singer, too bad he left Mark! he's great. I love his voice so much. Didn't he sing Hanging Tree? Lovely. He DOES resemble Craig Kilborn! heh, I thought I was the only one that thought that. Umm and yes.. he does look like a few actors. hehe, thanks guys, you rock.
Knockoff (May 21, 2004)
Ahh! This is amazingly cool kasha! The sektchy-ness of it makes it look a bit more real.I love the black and white feel, aswell! |

*has a foot fetish*
Edit: Kasha, yes. I LOVE eyebrows and feet. Call me weird, but it's true. ^___^
don't you have an eyebrow fetish as well? or was that someone else? haha.
The only thing i`ll add is a small object with red in it(complimentary). Maybe a red skipping rope that flows around the flat surface. It may strengthen the composition whilst adding some meaning to it. But dont fill too much of the nice flat area you already have. The rope can maybe start quite low in the picture, then going behind her legs and then forward again. Just an idea though. :)
go well
