Thanks Dave... Sweetcell, I really have always loved drawing, painting and sculpting horses. It is so great when someone appreciates the same beauty I see in them. I really need to be more disciplined to truely capture the images I want to draw, I had to replace my computer and lost a little time here. I truely missed this site! Thanks again to you both!Jill |

Hi Cindy! I haven't been here at 2 draw in so long.. a major computer blow out and now I have only a laptop. I just couldn't wait to get back to drawing! The horses of the islands still live free!I reached a point of lacking patience. The gallop in this position is difficult. Many of the artists here make this look so easy, it is not at all easy.
I got the form I was looking for in the gallop... this was a challenge!

Thanks Dave, I was able to better work with tools as a result of your tips. Now I have more work to do to understand the space part as well as the canvas size to capture really what I want. I just started a new peice, island horse and I think the canvas will not support the details I wish to capture. But thanks so much for your help, I'm getting a little better. Real toolsare much easier for me now, but I am determined to cature the same total effects here!Jill |

To be with a Muse will fill you with the inspiration and knowledge of many worlds, and spur you towards creative expression, the highest form of the sentient condition. But be warned: Muses cannot be called on command, nor can they be caged. Muses must choose to come to you of their own unfathomable will, and may choose to ignore you for a period of several years. Although aloof and uncaring, Muses still seem to find enjoyment in fraternizing with humanity, if for no other reason than amusement. I guess this is as good as it gets.
