blah... this is my first drawing in this sort of thing... i can't figure out how to color it right... i'm so used to photo shop... but i guess i'll figure it out...well i finnally figured how to color it in... almost done! yay... lol i need a break....phew...

Neat picture. I've been doing line work with the pen in th e topmost layer and just using airbrush and eraser in a lower layer with dodge and burn (and lightening or darkening colors, which is a pain) in shi-painter. It's not nearly as easy as photoshop but it works. I like the angular linework and flat perspective. It looks kind of like something you'd see on the wall in a coffee house. |

Not bad. But Bugs looks one heck of a lot better in a dress. ;-) Actually, Daffy didn't look too bad in that one episode of Duck Dodgers either.

Inspired by other pet pic's...and by my brother's dog, Samie, who actually squints his eyes and smiles all over his face when you walk in the door. I tried to capture his expression in my picture. The grumpy one is taken from memories of our beagle Misty..who was ...grumpy!

They are cute but I think the eyes look to much like people eyes, maby if you make them round it look more like animals.

Yea...the eyes ,especially with eyebrows, do look too human. Its a nice picture but they don't look "doggy" enough.

Yes, your right... they do look too human...I thought that too...but couldn't get them right...I started out on this pic as a practice using the copy tool...but it turned out to be struggle trying to make them not look like 'copies'..while trying to show, by facial expression, the differences in their personalities...thanks guys for your input..it helps..I'll keep your tips in mind for my next animal drawing.:) :) |

Neat doodly kitty. Is the hand meant to be holding the glowy thing or is his hand in front of it? It makes me think about drawing light sources with edge lit body parts in front of them. Like looking up at someone with the sun behind them (but without cheezy lens flares). Maybe I'll do that.

heheh! I caused inspirement! Cool! ....Yes his hand is supposed to be in front of the glowy ball of blue light. Thanks for commenting! ^_^;; *Coughcough* So I played with the sharpen and blur brushes....Hope he looks a little less sketchy now.

I love looking at Tornados! TWISTER was one of my favorite movies. Nature is awesome, as long as your not directly in its path. :)Late comment but this picture is Nice! Look at the way the grass and everything else looks highlighted. :D
