This is my first post on this site. I drew a picture like this in my art book so I decided to see if I can draw it on the internet....and it didn't turn out the way I hoped it would, ok it really didn't turn out good at all. oh well.

Reminds me of Takako, or whatever her name is, from Pretear. ^_^ Try making the nose flow into the head smoother, and not just jut out. Also, the neck is a tad fat. I like her hair. :3 |

With a tiny bit more polish this stuff could definetly get into the intermediate boards. If it isn't already. It's very chibi-style-ish. The shading is certainly very interesting.

This is an adorable style. ^_^ Sorta reminds me of Bottled Fairy... The shading is cool and interesting, and I like the pose. ^_^

Edit: Yes this is ED from FMA, an older winged version ^^ & yes his neck is too fat. Someone called & kicked me offline when I was sending it.(Glares at dialup connection) I was so afraid I lost it. I tried to go back & edit it but The revision took me back to like verson2 or something *sighs*

I thought it was supposed to be the dude from FMA... I really like the softness of the picture, and the wing especially. I do agree with Kenshin when she says the neck is really fat. ^^;;

Well, here's the sketch of it. I hope whoever is going to color this likes it. ^_^ I like how it turned out. I'll do the lineart sometime tomorrow, maybe.

Its a cello. I tried doing some van gogh painting style thing. Didn't work out too well. Suggestions would be helpful.

cellos are thinnn in the middle. Its just sicne you cant see the bottom or top it makes the whole thing look thin.. And uh yeah. I like the way the colour turned out.

I can spot several faults to this, although it is a pretty good attempt. 1.) Line tool and beizer zre no-nos. 2.) like marcello told me when I first drew a DBz picture, Try looking at a referance. 3.) Take your time while coloring!! I still see some white spots from just deciding to use fill on everything and not bother anymore. Edit: This does not belong on the intermidiate board either. I suggest you take it off before it's deleted. 4.) Shading. If you use it, your pictures will never suck. Most of the time anyway. overall, this is and O.K. DBZ pic, but take what I said and what other people say to make this much better.

Not to be bitchy, but.. "Users should expect to spend at least half an hour on each entry on this board." you should just practice on the shape of the head and the way in which the hair is supposed to be drawn. Practice on the beginner board and maybe use the pen tool instead of pencil. Oh, and the muscles.. yeah.. practice! |
