I want to live there.Ill finish it later, any advice will be greatly appreciated, especially on the perspective. edit: This is gonna take a buttload of patience. EDIT: ARG THIS HAS BEEN IN MY STUDIO FOR EVER. D: LAST EDIT: I liked the sketch of it, but got sick of the actual style, so I re-did this. I started this a really long time ago.

These pop art pictures of yours are wonderful and I always feel like I've learned something by studying them. The yellow rain, from the thumb, looks like a strawberry seeds, which of course makes that whole red area look like a strawberry, so Electromagnetic Stawberry Field's forever. :) |

Oooooh, I am just kvetching over this. Looks at first like a dragon coming out of an acid pool, then it reminds me of the Galrog (I thik it's called) in LOTR. Like the brushy painty look of this. |

Practice without reference. The old flawed tendencies are still there, but I think I'm getting closer. I tend to draw the eyes and lips too small, among other things. Crits welcome.

Thanks! Yeah, I think the chin turned out well. It's funny, when I cover up everything except the right eye, or everything except the chin, it looks fine to me. I'm thinking the problem has something to do with either perspective or proportions between the different parts of the face.

Yeah dude, it's the eye, the right eye. Covered it up with my thumb and the rest gets an instant improvement. I think it maybe that it isn't aligned horizontally with the other features.I think it needs to be higher. I'm no expert with this stuff, so don't take my word too seriously. =) I bet Klox would know the exact answer, he must, drawin' dem faces all day long. =]

That could be. I'm starting to think that the eyes are drawn at the wrong perspective for the rest of the face. Cover everything from the bridge of the nose down and the eyes look okay. What do you think, Klox? |
