Hi :)I can see an old man looking down too! wait.. did you draw him on purpose, like he really is in heaven?! You have great color combination here roy, as always. :) But-I find the lines on the right disturbing, They kind of take me out of the story I could have built around this piece. maybe it was intended, don't know.. but I liked the piece better without them, like in the previous version. edit- Im with that lady, even if it took him 40 years, it would be much better at 40 years and an hour!

In my opinion, compositionally, this piece is brilliant. You have two completely different pictures here, the left side all simple and monochromatic with just warm colors and large simple shapes and the right side is full of action, warm and cool colors, blurred and sharp lines, smaller shapes, etc etc. The two meet in the middle at the center of the volcano and my gaze is caught there, just as it should be. The part i like best are the vertical lines on the left, without them the left side would not be strong enough to balance the seething wildness on the right. They also keep the birds from becoming too much of a distraction. Simply wonderful. I have been a fan of your work for quite a few yrs even tho I do not comment.

I see. There still is the option of just ignoring him though... I mean the only reason he does this is because he gets a reaction if no one reacts, then its not fun anymore.

I wonder how I've never seen this person before. :/ Or this conversation. I say ignore him, it's more than he deserves if he is singling out Anime. I mean sure, not everyone on this board is a fan of it, but most ignore the pictures or styles they don't like, unless they put huge amounts of effort into the picture and the comment is well deserved, good or bad. So he could have done the same. Just saying.

My comment Lori was related to it being posted in Intermediate. 8 minutes finished in Intermediate. Is that fair on those that spend a solid 30 mins to few hours creating something in boards other than beginner? Please don't take this as me trying to have a go at you either.

That really is an old beauty! Older cars are the best. So much class and refinement and hardly any of them looked the same. Now they all come prepackaged with about as much imagination as you'll find in a cookie cutter. Great job, and great taste!

Well, I guess it turned out ok after all, wasn't sure it would in your earlier versions........NOT. As expected, just stunning. The reflections on the car are to die for, esp. the cobble stone. Not sure I like the make-up either. But otherwais........................wow wow owowowowowowoweeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

It's taken me about eight attempts to comment on this, but this time I finally can!There's just something about the skin texture that makes it look like it's bubbling and sloughing off. *shudder* The eyelids have that same molten flesh kind of look to them... It's almost too much to see! Very effective.
