I've found that the reason I haven't done a polished image in a while is because I don't zoom in anymore, and so I can't do details like I used to. Meh... I'll finish something one of these days.Btw.. I totally butchered that shinigami creature. It's sort of beyond my drawing capabilities :).

He looks like a wise old lion. Telling you the meaning of life before he pounces. I agree with Dave just a bit of a highlight in the eyes to make him spark. I've yet to dare an animal myself.

Is this the right board? So, what made you start drawing, and what made you keep at it? (there's probably already been a thread on this...) Well, let's see...as for me, I originally started somewhere around first grade. What did I draw? Animals. Why? I got some book called "Draw Rainforest Animals" or something, and used that. No Hagaren, there's a name for cooked sugar and water. It's used for a candy base and can be swirled on desserts to look like spun gold. Some bakers also use it to make candy glass windows for gingerbread houses (watching Martha Stewart is actually good for something. Who woulda thunk it?)Anyway, that's what it looks like.
