Ya thought that huh?
Gigge (Mar 3, 2005)
Ok...new agreement. You harrass me since you're not capable of much else and I'll still ignore you. Have at it.
emmamommalag (Mar 3, 2005)
Those are the cutest puppies, Gigge. Such a sweet pose.

oooo! can i name him? PWEASE?!?!?
spiritdweller (edited Feb 27, 2005)
so what is it Gigge? an elephant, right? I love them, hehe, took a ride on one with my son when he was smaller :D I love the animal shows that they talk about elephants on... how they remember their friends and family, if they're separated or whatever... they can get back together after years and the way they act seems proof that they never forgot each other. so sweet :)... they also mourn their lost ones much the way people do... hehe... we also call my mother elephant ears... she's an avid eavesdropper.
davincipoppalag (Feb 27, 2005)
This is beatiful Gigge. The emotional intelligence you can see in an elephant's eye is there. YOu did great.
Gigge (Feb 28, 2005)
Lori: Yup, an elephant.. The reference is called "elephant closeup" . ;) I like them. I think their whole social system is amazing, especially the elephant graveyards.

Anna: Using a reference is like following directions to me. No matter what my intentions are or how hard I try, I can't do it. So kind of you to see my flaw as an asset.

silver maiden: Be careful what you name her. She might take offense at being called a he. ;)

Thanks everyone for the kind words. :)

I was just experimenting with tools and right before giving up I decided to try hair. It worked! Since I may never be able to reproduce this again, I'm submitting it as a reminder it worked once. Please move it to beginner rather than deleting it. Thanks.

Awesome. The colors, I think thats what stands out most of all. Beautiful detail.
laurael (Feb 12, 2005)
Lol at the lettuce and bananas remark!
I am so glad that you came back here...I, for one have missed you.
Great pic and the colors...well, the colors are just so bright and wonderful! I love the colors you used, I really do. :)
Aubrey (Feb 14, 2005)
Very beautiful colors. What a cool dragon.
Asridaein (Feb 16, 2005)
I love the vibrant colors, and the chinese dragon is really well done. I'd imagine that's what one of those would look like if i saw it in person in China during one of their parades. You are an amazing artist Gigge.

oh wow... this is a great picture...
laurael (Feb 12, 2005)
That's some nice, dark skin tone going on here. It really brings out those stones, which, btw, you did a fabulous job on.
Asridaein (Feb 16, 2005)
THis is a really nice piece of work Gigge. I love how you made the stones, they look so real, and the tones and shading of the neck is amazing, it looks so realistic. :) Nice work. I think this is my favorite one of all of your drawings.
