I wonder if, in its little computational brain,
perhaps from the last spark of electricity
Did it see one final beam of light.

It probably saw a disclaimer that microsoft had nothing to do with its demise and then a little red x welcome back
George_Goat (Dec 4, 2006)
XD Most likely.

But sadly my computer is STILL dead. I'm on the college computer so I dunno when I'll be back again.
I had to buy a new hard drive since the other was totalled, and I'm still too poor/cheap to get Windows XP for it.

Hooray for still being remembered here, though!

I think she might need some.

This is for solve. I'm not sure why you chose to ask me to do this, as I can think of several other artists here that would have been much better at this sort of thing, but I was very flattered that you did. I hope this is what you wanted and that you aren't disappointed. I had fun doing it.

I assume this is from (or inspired by) Bjork's "All is Full of Love"
video directed by Chris Cunningham.

D:< Well I like it!

It reminds me of something that might be in a dream.

And the gradient shades of the sky are very well done and pretty.
elly (Sep 30, 2006)
VERY cool! The colors are great and I love the foggy look in the hills. Keep working on it and get some details, high and low lights in there! It's really very nice!

I loved the movie when I was little, and I have read the book about four times. It is a strange and somewhat dark story. Great drawing, I really like the dark blue swirls of the water.
George_Goat (Sep 8, 2006)
Thankyou muchly!

I have yet to find a copy of the book. I know I'll probably like it a lot when I do, though.
Sasuke-fan-Sapphire (Sep 8, 2006)
this is pretty. I think I saw this movie once but I can't remember anything from it D:
Sweetcell (Sep 14, 2006)
The first time I saw this was years back and I adored it, till some of the actors sang the songs (note: Don't sing if you can't) Beautifully done goat. You got her likeness and the soft look of a reflection. My favorite of yours so far.

The hand and arm seem overly large but I love the crown.
George_Goat (Jul 29, 2006)
It was meant to. I wanted the Queen to look as miserly and greedy as possible, and quite a bit manipulative.

Actually I tried to put a ton of symbolism in this, which I will probably forget later anyway. =D So I might as well write it all down!

The black pit in the background symbolizes (mostly the sphere and cat) being trapped in the darkness and chaos that the queen has control over. While the person who represents the sphere is trapped within her claws in a bad position, perhaps they are a sphere of light because they already found out what she was like and now she is draining them of everything she wants, yellow bolts of upset and stress shooting out of them.
The cat can still try to reach for the outside, the light of the situation, even if it also has loyalties to its greedy master. I also made the Queen's stomach pouchy, to symbolize an over usage of wealth or affluence. This is also why I used a lot of green tones, to symbolize the wealth that she keeps all to herself and lies about.
The golden tones in this picture are cast only by the crown and jewlery, simply material extensions; I was trying to show that her actual noble, righteous heair, is indeed only a false act she casts over herself.

The overlaying shades of pink/fuschia, what I tried to make a more unnatural shade purposely, was what I thought would look like her false sense of compassion. The cat is still affected by them, is still unsure about them, wants to believe they are real.

The red directly in the middle of her crown and pendant was me trying to show that she is ruled very much also, by anger, along with the greed, and the blue veins in her hand is her sucking the power and will out of the blue sphere, as it begins to dwindle down.

Everybody at the video game symphony looked like they rolled out of bed and left. I was really overdressed because a lot of video game music sounds like classical, and it's a symphony, so I figured I'd dress nicely. Huuuu boy was I wrong. I saw a bunch of guys like this there. Obese 30 year olds. or teens. I actually saw some older people, like, late fourties and stuff. :O Whatever, it was a really odd experience. The music was great.

Blonde Guy: "*heavy breathing* I want to be like Sephiroth because he is the best character out of *pause, heavy breath* all of the Final Fantasy series. *pause, more breathing* I have calculations."
Me: "....."
Blonde Guy: "I see you... probably like Laura Croft? *pause, breathing* ...Heh. heh. heh. You're wearing laura croft boots... with your skirt. You got a... gun under there too? ;)"
Me: :(

George_Goat (Aug 30, 2006)
XDXDXD!!

That's exactly how it was when I went to the Detroit Orchestra.,..hall thingy a while ago to hear video game soundtracks!
This huuuge guy that was about 30 and still living with his mom (who was also there) started bugging my friend Gary the whole time he was in line to see Nobuo Uematsu...:( He was all sweaty and looked like he was going to have a heart attack just because Gary brought a kingdom hearts game and it was a different edition, so it was different colors. D: Gary went there dressed like a Raccoon city police department man. O.o
