Wow thanks everyone!! I really wasn't expecting to win the first place, the other entries were great! I like participating in these contests mostly because I have the chance to draw different stuff than what I would usually do. Thanks very much!..Elly, I do understand, completely! I think it may be a comprised of soft plastic, cloth and maybe a vacuum underneath pulling all the air out of it. That's what I see...lol. I just know I had a GREAT time creating it! ♥

Thanks all for your kind words. I'm entirely astonished that I placed in this contest, there were so many great entries. Lori, why would you be 'sorry' that Zep looks better than I imagine him to look? Besides loving Zep's work I wanted to draw a picture manifesting my mental image of a perceived personality--generous, kind, beneficent...one who would never go out of his way to say something mean-spirited to another artist. From the way he has always presented himself here, that's how I imagine him.

Contest Week 101: 2draw Portrait So, basically draw someone else on the site. it can be anyone, you can ask them for a reference picture or just draw them from imagination! This is just a fun let loose contest, Obviously not everyone will be comfterable giving their pictures away, so please be ginger. I used the blur tool (with scattering) and the Airbrush tool on the bearded dude (a layer on top in multiply mode)... dont know how this will turn out.. the technique im trying to do is so much easier to do in photoshop..
