Dr.Moony
(Jul 10, 2007)
This time I painted first and then divided the image into 3 channels/layers(cyan, magenta, and yellow). Then I moved the layers so that they do NOT fit and made some other changes. It's not a 3D image ;) |

Tried to paint this way: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subtractive_color3 layers(multiply) - one color each: cyan, magenta, and yellow Theoretically you can create almost every color this way but it is crazy hard to do. ... you can also do this with permanent markers.
davincipoppalag (Jul 10, 2007)
What an interesting thing! ..They come out cool looking
Kloxboy (Jul 10, 2007)
Whoa, that's wicked. You and I must have drank the same Kool-aid today. |

look not grey...at least not in this piece
Punky (Jul 10, 2007)
This is pretty trippy looking, I wish I could pull off crazy colours like you did here.
Kloxboy (Jul 10, 2007)
Looks like he's made of candy. :P It's like digital Van Gogh.
Sweetcell (Jul 10, 2007)
I thought this was CMB's, like it, seems like pen work, or heavy ink blocking.
davincipoppalag (Jul 10, 2007)
I was sure this was one of CMB's too..she's done some similar style pieces. This looks like those etchings you would do in school where you lay down all the color crayons on a board and then cover over with the black and scratch out the picture |

Dr.Moony (Jul 8, 2007)
thanks....just white and black lines over each other
Morggey (edited Jul 8, 2007)
I really like it, especially the circular lines on her stomach! :D This reminds me of linocuts, definitely! (I made a horsie one in elementary school art class. xD) Does her left breast have light blue on it...?
Sweetcell (Jul 10, 2007)
Linocut's, blockprinting, it definately has that feel. Verry in-te-res-ting.
Roytje (Jul 12, 2007)
That;s nice! Unique style :) |

http://r.orderofr.net/object/22/ashby_face_grabI want to do such stuff all on my own. I hate refs
HunterKiller_ (Jun 17, 2007)
This is well done. You better start liking refs if you want to be a great artists. Even pros use refs.
fleeting_memory (Jun 17, 2007)
well it still looks awesome-I use references for a lot too-it is frustrating.

you and your dirty minds.this time abstract. i have no luck with humans today
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 13, 2007)
I'm not sure what it looks like... if anything. Well, if you climb up on a dresser or something, prop your feet up on the wall, and hang your head upside down... no, wait... it still doesn't look like anything. Okay, then, if you sit crosslegged on the floor and tilt your head wayyyyy to the right... ummm. ok. I have no idea what it is. I think I pulled something.
Kloxboy (Jun 13, 2007)
JK: Like I said, this one isn't nearly as vaginal as the others. And yes, it's natural to like women's happy bits. :)
davincipoppalag (Jun 13, 2007)
I didn't think they were dirty either, This one is smooth and graceful and fun to imagine what it might be. Isn't that what some art is supposed to do?
Skai (Jun 15, 2007)
Err, for some reason I thought of something inside a person's ear. o_o |

Kloxboy (Jun 12, 2007)
Very cool, good choice of colors. This has a "clitonic" feel to it. Yeah, I just made that word up but hopefully you get my meaning. :)
davincipoppalag (Jun 12, 2007)
Second pic by you that has that feel that Klox describes..picture in a picture..
Sweetcell (Jun 12, 2007)
I agree with Klox, which gives this a birth feel to it.Clitonic, sounds like a hangover drink. "Hangover? Let me make you a clitonic." :D

A quick one because I have not much time(leaving for a few days)...I'm probably going to do a few more paintings about licking ...
Sweetcell (Jun 8, 2007)
Very interesting. It looks like a fresco, but also looks like she's coming out of a membrane. I know it makes no sense so I'll parrot everyone else. Great, cool awesome and all that. :)
lori (Jun 8, 2007)
looks a bit like a hooha -very well drawn

- You paint something as usual
- Merge all the layers to one base layer
- Copy that base layer + create a new layer(has to be above the copy)
- You fill the new layer with the color Yellow (red: 255; green:255; blue: 0)
- set the layer type from normal to additive -> your image should look very bright now
- Merge that layer with the copy of the base image -> set layer type to multiply
- make that layer invisible
- create a new copy of your base painting + new empty layer; and repeat the steps from above - BUT with the colors cyan(r:0 g:255 b: 255) and magenta(r:255 g:0 b:255)
- After you have finished that, you can make the colored layers visible - and make all the others invisible -> the image should look exactly like the original now
- by moving the channels you can get this 3D feel
I hope you can understand it :) ... I'm bad at writing tutorials
