This belongs here squee, it's cute and I can feel the playfulness as he decides whether to chase the butterfly. And I agree the whiskers and little stones are a nice touch.

This looks like a fable or story being told by an old Eskimo to some younsters and this is how they would see it. Oh, Dave beat me. Be interesting to see you do some comic panels in this style with a full story. Ok my imagination won't shut off.

Sweetcell & shults, don't look at the "water", look at the mid-tones, highlights, lowlights, and shadows along with the over all shape. Keep trying though!! You'll get it!!

I love this, the clouds and colors and the serpents riding the air waves.If you want to do more maybe some wings, but make them so thier moving so fast they're a blur, like hummingbird wings, or bees and wasps.
