He is guarding the entrance to a castle! I like the perspective on it (seems fine to me, although I do have trouble with getting it right sometimes myself, so whaddoo I know (lol) But I like it - it sort of gives me a dizzy feeling.

Haha. Yeah, he did. The Admiral never loses, but luckily he also isn't one to boast about it. He's an old school, shoe-shining, self-confident hero. He doesn't ever feel the need to personally attack anyone, but when they stick their big blue faces in front of his and boast of their vile, pirate deeds...well, he can't tolerate such buffoonery.

Just a note about the "well manicured grass" : Yes it was always cut. My dad kept his lot mowed and looking nice all the time. He was in the same lakefront campsite for 30 years.
