Wow. I have proven to myself that I CAN draw with a mouse. *cramp* This is a made up character playing DDR, the home version. You just can't see the pad... Anyway, I think it's pretty good for my returning pic from a mouse. I'm so used to a pen that I thought I couldn't do it. |

My first attemot at realism... and didn't do very well with it... She looks fat.. Oh well, guess it'll have to do.Eeh... I fixed it. Hope it looks a little better. Still sticking to anime form now on unless I draw from reference.

The fatness is not a problem, I think to make it realistic you need to add a little more clarity, as it is rather blurry. Try going in with the pen tool and adding finer lines. Although it is not clear if you intended this or not, it looks like she/he is wearing either a mask or just makeup similar to used in japanese theater (which would make it a him?)... |

Enter my horrible-utterly-despised attempt at lightning and cool shading effects. The character himself I think is pretty good. Forgot the shading on the jacket, tho. Oh well. Expect better from me later. Fweeh... must sleep. Still awaiting collab volunteers...

Pretty good. A little more shading wouldn't hurt and brightening either.. But i like the bg. Man, your name so reminds me of DayChan. (Who people thought was Hakkai, at first)

The background could have been different shades of black, rather than solid black. Maybe you should make the stars shine and not just square pixels. The shading under the neck doesn't look quite right.. needs some shading under the jaw perhaps? Just maybe?"Who people thought was Hakkai, at first" Hahahahaha. The only critic I can find is that her colours are blurry. Them pants are camouflage, true, but very undetermined ones, without real line with the different colours...
Enough about the little-boohoo, since I like this pic. Love her pose, clothes, and especially the stylish background.
