I think this one deserves showcase. Who says you have to spend many hours for it to be showcase?

your brushstrokes with the digital brush are very "digital" looking... I often find myself thinking, when I look at your paintings, that if they were actual paint strokes that your paintings would really be quite brilliant. Something about the roundness of the brushstrokes seems like a waste... like the viewer is cheated out of seeing the 'hand' in the work. This could almost be like a debate about digital vs. real painting. I strive when, I paint here, to constantly make those round, digital strokes not look so like they are done with a computer, as if I'm trying to pass my paintings on here as canvas paintings. You dont bother with that and just let yourself be free... hmmm.

This is digital, we don't need to pretend it's not. It's free and forgiving and the only thing you need to live up to is in your head.

..and I believe that if you sat down with a canvas it would come out just as beautiful. Different, because it's real paint, but just as beautiful. |

I'm not sweet!!!lol....I have a back tooth (a very important, CHEWING tooth hah) that lost a crown a while back...can't do anything about it right now so sugar really hurts, but I'd take a happy face sticker or something. :D Seriously, tho, I meant what I said, I wasn't just being "nice", you have a very "whimsical", unusual talent. magicwoman can have my cookie :)

I've never seen Donna Jean pissed, but even so, I don't think it resembles her at ALL |

I see it now!!! Can't believe I didn't recognize the sign. (attribute that to my horrid, rapidly accelerating blindness) There are a couple in Waco, I usually hit one when I'm over that way, in the Dallas/FW area, or traveling anywhere. I agree with Wraith, I'm not crazy about their coffee,...(especially since they only brew one kind now...it's all that other s^!+ they concentrate on...sugar free, fat free, latte crappe frappe with a swirl of foof or whatever that is on top....whatever happened to the dang COFFEE? It's still better than that weak bark water you get at convenience stores, so I'm thankful I can at least get a true hit of caffeine when I'm away from home. (that is when I can afford to sacrifice an arm and a leg for a cup of coffee. - hah -) Again, love the picture, it's totally cool.

Yea.. I like plain brown coffee too.. don't like any of those fancy ass places..and the prices they charge are freakin nuts

Looks like a scene from the "four corners" I love it out there. (I would rough up the edges of the "buttes" just a bit, to make it more realistic.) Otherwise, it's perfect.

Quite unusual for an angel... don't believe I've ever seen one portrayed like this. It made me think "Earthbound Angel".... Like a woman who strives to do the right thing at all cost...one of them being sacrificing her happiness here on earth. (that's just my interpretation) She's really whimsical and cool looking... I like her.
