You said do IT... and then I looked, and the instructions are for ... (ha :) what in the heya'll is a kiwy? (And don't say it's "that"... skip that part... what is THAT?) ... and then don't say THAT is a Kiwy, skip that part, too.

here are some key points for armor a few things to keep in mind, is assimetrical armor, is a good sign of a sturdy design, no matter how much of it doesnt make sense
1] i usually start with the shoulders, seeing as how they are the trickiest thing to master.
2] try to avoid making the chest piece into one solid piece covering everything from the neck to the groin, not only does it usually end up looking lame, but its pretty hard to be flexable in
3] elbows can be tricky, and it isnt really a big hazard zone, so dont feel crappy if you cant draw elbow pads
4] the knee is actually 3 seperate pieces, which brings me to another point, dont be afraid to break one piece of armor into several layers, it ensures flexability
5] feet should really only be armored on the toes, the heels, and the soles.

ok, here are some basic armor designs, note that you dont have to deck out the kiwy in every part of armor, but as a referance, i did all the crucial spots on here.
one thing when making a big suit of armor, is keep a theme in mind, dont give him a simple chest piece, and arm guards with plain shoulder guards, and really fancy and obnoxiously shiny greaves (shin armor)
1] smooth armor edges that are directed inwards, you dont need your kiwy stabbing himself with his armor
2] make sure it's well balanced, dont give him gigantimus shoulder pads and tiny other stuff
3] dont over complicate the armor designs, it can be way more work then you bargain for
4] gravity exists, make sure that any loose armor looks loose and draped
5] the tip of the nose goes on the corner of that old block we stuck on his face earlier :D

For as long as that song is I doubt you had to play it too many times. Slick and shiny.
HunterKiller_ (Jun 30, 2006)
Very good.

Deino I think you may have been born in the wrong decade. I thought this was one of Cindy's from the thumb..(that's a compliment btw)

Titus is not made of titanium as many people believe. He simply has a skin condition that creates a titanium oxide on his skin. As such he has a knack for being shiny and metallic. His skin gives him extra strength and resistance to elements, but he must shed every day to avoid suffocation.

When he is not off saving the world he is busy solving Sudoku from the London Times he gets flown in every day. Other interests include modeling and throwing limbs at stray cats.

Did someone vacuum pump that female's genitals? Because that's the only thing that's comparable to this image in my mind.

And yes, I'm a dirty perv. Because I can't see what else this thing could be. LAWL. Nice work, Marcello :)

I got a sixty-nine chevy with a 396
Fuelie heads and a hurst on the floor
Shes waiting tonight down in the parking lot
Outside the seven-eleven store
Me and my partner sonny built her straight out of scratch
And he rides with me from town to town
We only run for the money got no strings attached
We set `em up and then we shut `em down

Tonight tonight the strips just right
I wanna blow `em off in my first heat
Summers here and the time is right
Were goin racin in the street

We take all the action we can meet
And we cover all the northeast state
When the strip shuts down we run `em in the street
From the fire roads to the interstate
Some guys they just give up living
And start dying little by little piece by piece
Some guys come home from work and wash up
Then go racin in the street

Tonight tonight the strips just right
I wanna blow `em all out of their seats
Calling out around the world
Were going racin in the street

I met her on the strip three years ago
In a camaro with this dude from l.a.
I blew that camaro off my back and drove that little girl away
But now theres wrinkles around my babys eyes
And she cries herself to sleep at night
When I come home the house is dark
She sighs baby did you make it all right
She sits on the porch of her daddys house
But all her pretty dreams are torn
She stares off alone into the night
With the eyes of one who hates for just being born

For all the shut-down strangers and hot rod angels
Rumbling through this promised land
Tonight my baby and me were gonna ride to the sea
And wash these sins off our hands

Tonight tonight the highways bright
Out of our way mister you best keep
`cause summers here and the time is right
Were goin racin in the street

I think the sing it sister threw poppa off. I love how with only a few strokes you got such a rich feeling in this. Reminds me of Dan's work.

This is such a great piece! It looks like a painting. Why do such great artists draw in beginner? I feel like I am amongst gods.

My, this is fun. :D

Name: Timber [Teresa Calhoun]
Power: Manipulation of plantlife - that manipulation is limited by the amount of water and natural ground (soil, sand, even rock) nearby. She can't make something grow straight out of concrete, for example, unless some organic ground is running through or underneath it. If you let her near a water main, however, she can really screw over a city street. Besides the ability to make plantlife grow, she can also manipulate it once it is grown - wrapping vines around something, as another example.
Backstory: From the midwest US, Timber lived on a family farm and continuously won blue ribbons in the county fair for the best vegetables - she had no idea that she was a mutant until Professor Xavier recruited her. She lives at the Xavier Mansion, and helps teach when they're low on staff. She has a garden in the back of the house, where she tends rare plants that have medicinal properties. She also researches these plants in association with other mutants, should an ailment suffered by a specific mutant require a different remedy than tradition calls for. Timber takes night courses to get her doctorate in botany.

(Her specific power is why that stylized flower on her vest is there - it's a flower, but also an X. ooh, I know I'm clever.)

I especially like the way you did the plants... the one in the back on the right looks like a man-eater, it's just missing the bloom thingy with the teeth. :D
quintessence (Jun 29, 2006)
Good skin coloring. :o
davincipoppalag (Jun 29, 2006)
Nice entry miss connie. Yea, I'm not going near that plant
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 29, 2006)
Smart move, Dave, I'm pretty sure the man-eating part with the teeth is on top of the plant, just out of our line of sight. I can tell by the look on her face she sooooo wants you to walk past it. hah.

I thought the same thing Kejoco. I think its because of the volume of hair. The face to me seems like a mask too.

Really good work though :)

Nice piece of work. I think the gun is bent?
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jun 29, 2006)
This is the coolest picture I have ever seen, I love it. I'm not sure what she's aiming at, but I'm damn sure she's gonna hit it. :) Sometimes I go to this far out place on this guy's land to practice with my .44...(and my .357) he has targets set up and there's never anybody there...this reminds me of that.... went there just recently. (Don't change anything...unless you just want to...leave it as it is!) I'm putting this as my desktop bg if that's okay with you? :)

edit: now that is wayyy cool... it kind of "stretched" on my desktop.... wow

Yeah, after a hard day of plenty of fartin and workin on the house, I figure I'd wipe my ass just to be safe.... ya know, a complimentary safety wipe as it were.
