This seems to be riding the fence between "styles"... I love it. Sometimes riding the fence is way more fun than being on one side or the other. :)

I like the fusion of colors here, but what I love the most is that the result looks effortless....and Maynard Keenan is a t r u l y great and talented guy!..(it's him, I guess?..)

well I did an actual painting of this Lindsay in acrylics. and I won 1st place in the Painting 1 catergory!!!!! YAY ME!!

Inspired by a special I saw on the History Channel about Caligula, gotta love that channel. Trying to paint more boldly and meaningful like Dan, his work is definitely worth a second look when trying to "paint it digitally". I based this on a bust sculpture of Caligula.

This really is awesome. Weird thing, I think I like her mouth, tongue and teeth better than anything else. It just looks so real, wet and perfectly done.

This is so great... it has a realistic quality to it, while it manages to be very whimsical and free-spirited. I think it actually shows how you feel about your friend. I think I'd like Sarah. :D
