frustration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
staci (Jun 22, 2004)
i agree with that...actually i was releasing drawing this..i've got 'life' frustrations, well, more than usual and this was minor therapy.thanks : )
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 22, 2004)
Yep, life can be pretty bumpy. I betcha if you can find something to get absorbed in here, your 'life' frustrations will lift, as well. :) I usually scribble and stuff when I'm upset and don't post... nothing constructive comes out of it when I feel like that. lol Hope things look upnupnupnup soon!
davincipoppalag (Jun 22, 2004)
Beautiful draw! This has the appearance of having been done with oil pastels. I find when life gets frustrating, it helps to pull the wings off flies, and to bully someone helpless.. (jk jk)
emmamommalag (Jun 22, 2004)
I love the hair and the eyes. Nice style here. Hope things are lighter for you soon. |

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices -- to be found in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all its own -- for the children and the children yet unborn. And the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone. Rod Serling (1924 - 1975) I believe he was one of the most creative geniuses of our time, and changed the way we view the world. This one is for the others who were knob-clicking, rabbit-ear adjusting kids who loved him like I did. (I couldn't find any one reference picture that I was happy with, so I just sort of combined stuff I found)
backmagicwoman (Sep 4, 2009)
Now that is an odd thing....Not the picture..it's amazing...
dorothyblueeyes (Nov 10, 2009)
--to which I might add, that many ideas have died on the vine, cause, basically,"with wisdom alone you don;'t go to market."this guy needed a tv. network, and cash,or else the twilight zone would just be an idea in a notebook,in the trash. Even microsoft needed some money to get started. Its one of the main reason we "babyboomers"were so creative,in the 60's,the economy was good, there were jobs,ect.ect. We had the fuel. Gotta have the fuel. It'll be interesting to see what happens to creativity in this era,in the US,and the future;already reality shows on t.v. stink to the Heavens, ugh.TV has never been so bad.Reality shows cost less to make,no writers to pay.But tv stinks so bad,I rarely watch it. During the 60's,we had so much good tv, it was dizzying. sigh.Twilight Zone looks so good now.

I was looking a DinoFlorist Ruler drawing and we were talking a little bit about how people found this site, Dino said he found it at inklink. I found out about it through www.youdraw.com. I was just wondering where everybody found out about this site. So please lets have a discussion.

I love the silhouette look to this picture.
I think, given a choice, I"d visit Scotland again instead of going to New York for the first time, though XD
Or maybe I'd go to St.Louis and up the Arch again. Then I'd get to see my Grandma. Not that she lives in the Arch, just that my Grandma is in the St. Louis area and I'd visit the Arch with her...
