It's about time for one of the kids to knock on the door. At least that's how it is in my house, you know, the one with all the blue lights.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Oct 18, 2004)
LOL lor...there is no shortage of men out there that wouldn't be more than happy to help you out with that particular dilemma.. and thug... yeah, but mine are teenagers and they come home unexpectedly and walk in and go OH GROSS! (parents aren't s'posed to do that sort of thing, ya know :) and... I just assumed you lived in the "red light" district (just kidding :)

This would make a good poster for the symphony or something. I truly like it.
nalgenegirl (Oct 18, 2004)
I really like this series that you are doing! Simple... yet elegant! I think this one is my favorite, because (a) the lines are nice and clean (there's nothing superfluous... did I spell that right?); (b) I really like red and black together. So it just appeals to me because of that :) If you are taking a tally of votes, I split my vote between piano and drums.
Knockoff (Oct 20, 2004)
Ohh, my friend is leraning this instrument. Hes amazing at it. His fingers go all over the place. Its pretty hard to do. Though he does play guitar. Nice job.

Read. The. Rules. I have had to delete far more pictures than I like to think about, and if new users would read the rules and take them into consideration, then the moderators would not have to patrol the boards so strictly. In addition to reading the rules, I suggest new users observe the boards before jumping in and drawing. Roam the boards for an hour or so, and get a feel for what's good, what's intermediate, what's beginner, s...

This was one of those quick anger-releasing drawings. I was pissed off. Drawing this relaxed me. Hooray for art.

Spain da best!! xDD

Well Whatever what you, worldwiders study, Cristobal Colon (Columbus) was Portguese or Spanish, but never Italian. And his trip that made that place u live discovered was payed by Spain! I think we got fucked after discovering it >_<

PS: Just an opinion
inatyrb (Oct 17, 2004)
i really like this drawing.. its looks so real... great work! but i agree wit Xod, the midde finger would show your anger a lil more than a thumb, but whatever floats your boat!
sincity (Oct 18, 2004)
Ebert gives this a thumbs up, and so do I. Great hand study.
Xodiak (Oct 20, 2004)
Spanish people are the best, because Tomas de Torquemada, the Grand Inquisitor, was spanish. As Clox is my favourite priest, Torquemada is my favourite monk! >:)

Another good one for you monk..
Gigge (Oct 17, 2004)
She looks as if she's pleading. Somehow, I think if her eyes moved and looked back at me I'd have the momentary glance away, like I don't want her catching me seeing her pain. Very pretty to look at, Monk.
sincity (Oct 18, 2004)
This did come out very nice. The tears really look great.

I think it's a very nice little silhouette...I especially like the tiny hint of light on the left side. Maybe a couple of small scraggley trees on the right side, and the letters take away from it... maybe you could take those off. :)
davincipoppalag (Oct 15, 2004)
I agree.. get rid of the letters.. and do some more details you only spent 6minutes on it so far.. and it's not bad.

DeadlyBlondeArcher (Oct 15, 2004)
Hey! She can be a noobie sometimes if she wants to. It gets lonely at the top LOL... I think this would make a cool billboard on a really busy freeway. Maybe the 610 loop in Houston, yeah.

A whiskey bottle comforts me
And tells me not to cry
While a full moon says a prayer for me
I try to close my eyes

But the night's there to remind me
Of the guns and the early graves
The ghosts appear as I fall asleep
To sing an outlaw's serenade

Oh... the desert's been a friend to me
It covers me by night
And a snakebite's not my enemy
But it taught me how to fight

Dyin' ain't much of a livin'
When you're livin' on the run
Dyin' ain't much of a livin' for the young
Is it too late to ask for forgiveness
For the things that I have done ?
Dyin' ain't much of a livin' for the young

The Muffin King is ordered to stay a poppy seed's throw away from the new democratic nation that displaced him. The muffins were influenced by the French revolution. They realized that their king was not actually ordained by the muffin god, so they decided to REVOLT and govern themselves by the majority's will. The King's "rule of the Iron Muffin Fist" had been overthrown, but the king knew he would be back. Soon they would find that the king had escaped with all of the grain reserves! The inhabitants of the muffin nation would resort to eating each other, and when the king returned with grain he would be loved, revered, and re-instated into his rightful place.

Aubrey (Oct 15, 2004)
lol great job Dino! the Muffin king is so funny, even has his lil paper cupcake holder.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Oct 15, 2004)
ROFL...But... when he got back with the grain it was infested with weevles, REMEMBER? And the muffin soldiers stabbed the king with pastry forks, while the weevles went rampant throughout the kingdom eating on the muffin people. I miss you, Dino! :)
