I think I better do more research on old drawings, just so that I get a better understanding on how the mods think so I can become a better 2draw citizen. I'll go find them.
marcello (Sep 7, 2004)
this was posted over a year ago, and old stuff doesn't get deleted. simple as that. if it were posted today? probably would be gone.
Axil62 (Sep 7, 2004)
Didn't get deleted when it was new. What's different now?
marcello (Sep 7, 2004)
2draw didn't have any rules until more recently... and fewer mods, and a LOT fewer people, period. very few drawings posted each day.
I'm sure there was a reason, but I don't particular remember why.

Well, if you're a kiddo, kiddo style is fine. My first tip would be to use the Lascaux applet instead of the other applets. My second tip would be to spend alot longer than 15 minutes on your pictures. That'll do for starters. Welcome to Celloland.

Run away, run far far away and never come back to this place before you become addicted. It's a double eged sword, the joy of creation and the agony of ignorance. Avoid this I say, run child, run like the wind and free yourself.

Contest Theme: 2draw mascot revisited
marcello (Mar 3, 2004)
Although many of you were not around, about a year ago or so 2draw had a mascot contest. Unfortunately, basically all we got were furries and random animals that made no sense. ;-) So, on the topic of "original characters," I thought it would be cool to do this contest again, only with a slight modification. Contest Theme: Come up with some original character (cute, cool, evil, your choice) that could eventually be rebuilt into an animated flash character. This requires a certain...

This dog does not want a man's penis in its anus. Too bad his owner is a furry.

You're breaking the rules, this is 18 +. I'm calling the cops.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Sep 6, 2004)
18 +? I say it's EXTREME. Extremely disgusting. If this isn't the worst excuse for a piece of art I have ever seen....
Axil62 (Sep 6, 2004)
Yes, this isn't very nice at all is it?
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Sep 6, 2004)
Makes me want to burst out into song from "The Sound of Music" or something. What about you?

Go see The Ring. Share my paaaaaaaain. I'm afraid of so many things, now. Including horses. And light houses. *nod* UPDATE: Alright. I was basically told 'go make it better'. I didn't want to make it neater, because wanted the rough effect on the horse. So I attacked the background with the blur, and added water. ...done now.

Yeah, well, obviously you don't have as vivid an imagination as I do. *twitch* And apparently, in the Japanese version, one of the girl's eyes is a horse eye. Just to let you know.
Axil62 (Sep 6, 2004)
Mmmm, I like the sketchynes of this one.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Sep 6, 2004)
Hey! I loved that evil little girl... when she's in a straight jacket in the chair and the psychiatrist says "we know you didn't mean to hurt anyone..." and she says "yes, I did, and I'm not sorry...." whoohooo love it love it, and there is an old well with a dead tree in the middle of a pasture on a highway near here, and I get scared everytime I go that way! If you haven't seen "The Butterfly Effect" yet you have GOT to see that one... the best part is where the boy goes back in time to the basement and tells his girlfriend's father off... be watching for that part it rocks... That movie is scarier even than The Ring.
Axil62 (Sep 6, 2004)
But I like the scratchyness...

Noice pict'cha mate. Et's bloomin RILL lol. I dunno why I got a accent there but this is nice. Looks like a oil painting for sure and that frame is nice. The little details in the black outlining the criss crossy stuff is neat too. The little details count :-D
emmamommalag (Aug 28, 2004)
I love the frame, too and the painting is lovely.

Problem Affecting Whether I Can Draw On 2Draw
Gigandas (edited Sep 5, 2004)
This is really complicated and I doubt anyone here has had the same problem I'm going thru, but it deals with logging in.I got three browsers and I'm using an iMac, the three being Safari, Internet Explorer, and Netscape.Internet Explorer used to work just fine but recently, I have to log in every time I move on to the next page and when I get to the image I want to work on, it just says "Image Not Found" along with being logged off^^;.Every time I do log in though, my name appears in the Online...

Well, this is my first time drawing in aaaaaaages (Except on iSketch, of course!)
I don't like the applet I used very much (blurring didn't turn out right), so I'll try a different one next time =o)

This applet is really the very best one... I wouldn't recommend using the blur tool at first, anyway. It's really mainly to pull a main subject forward by blurring a muted, unimportant section of background behind it. (At least that's the most useful thing I've found for it) A little blending on the clouds (the blend tool in Lascaux works really well on low opacity and low flow) would give you a better effect than blurring, anyway.
davincipoppalag (Sep 4, 2004)
Yay!~ WFlag!! Great to see you here!! The applets are a bit different from the old place, but don't give up on Lascaux..I love it (mommalag don't) hehehe
emmamommalag (Sep 4, 2004)
Waterylag!! Yay! It's so good to see you here. Your first pic is very nice. It takes awhile to get used to the tools... don't think I ever will.. but if you have tons of time to mess around, you can make some pretty decent pictures. Keep at it! (((Watery))))
