After watching The Evil Dead 2 and drinking 2 "Drunken Wings" drinks (1 Red Bull, a little raspberry juice and a shit load of vodka) this is what I drew, kinda sloppy, scary and strange, it was fucking fun.

Awesome. Great dried-out-corpse texture going on.
Anna (May 17, 2005)
He's so scary. I especially like his hand and the bits where the light hits the face.
safescene (Jul 16, 2005)
This thing looks like it was made out of really thin sheets of paper, and if I were to touch it, flakes would fall all over the place. Awesome.

Burn 'em down, baby.

While they ride, lord he tells her
how they two will settle down
but she only hears the highway
and a voice in some other town
And the harder he holds her
the more she slips away....

Same old story that everybody knows
it's one heart holdin' on
and one letting go

Thanks, Dave, it's nice of you to always comment even though the rest of us have been terrible about it and I haven't even checked your gallery lately, but I will, soon. He's not all mine, I think he belongs to Trisha Yearwood now. lol

Well I counted up my demons
Saw there was one for every day
With the good ones on my shoulders
I drove the other ones away

Zack in his Blue Period...
Zack (Jul 13, 2005)
I can definitely see how it could be interpreted as an expression of sadness. I don't think I did enough to convey my intention, which was for it to be contemplative rather than sad. I personally find rain on a window to be very peaceful and I picked blue to reflect that: the calmness inside opposed to the storming outside. In retrospect, a different pose for the guy probably would have helped it seem more thoughtful. Hope that helps with your black fuzzies miedel. ;) Thanks everyone!
nekodesu (Jul 13, 2005)
I like the blueness in it. Nice drawing :D
Ty854 (Jul 14, 2005)
Wow, I love the way rain looks on a window too. I also love the shadow it creates.

Murders comin' right up.

Let me know when you've captured it so I can scale it down again.

For viewing here I think it looks best if you view it at 75%

This makes me think of Yoda's powerful words: "See through you, we can." Cool! "The eye IS the window to a person's soul."
Renuar (edited Jul 5, 2005)
Beautiful iris, I feel like swimming :) -- Eyes have a language of their own.

Cordelia_Pink (Jul 13, 2005)
This scares me a little since it's so big that it's screaming: "I have my eye on you" and I can't escape from it! lol Great job!

Oh so now it works, it wouldn't submit yesterday >=(
Well anyways, i won't tell you the whole thing, it's much too long. This is the scene from the last bit of the dream, i was back in my school art room, painting this picture, or what i remember of it, the texture was a rough canvas... there was that big fluffy cat sitting there that had been chasing me ealier, and that skull in front of a glowing candle... at the bottom was a piece of parchment that i had been writting on. While i was writting on that parchment, all the ink started running down into a small stream, it got bigger and bigger and in the puddle of ink, words started to form... in all sorts of different fonts... i was reading it, it had some kind of really really disturbing message... so disturbing i woke up, and the message instantly faded from my memory... i still get chills whenever i think about it...

The only bad thing about that dream was the fluffy cat.
HunterKiller_ (Jul 13, 2005)
Why do you say that?
davincipoppalag (Jul 13, 2005)
She said it because the big fluffy cat was out of range ...

Makes me think of New England...The emotions in this picture are wonderful, I can almost smell the storm building...the particular shade of blue came out perfectly. DBA good luck with your cloud shooting...
