That's right. You thought it wouldn't happen. Hell, I thought it wouldn't happen. A new version of Lascaux Sketch is finally out! Version 0.70 was released a few days ago with an all new antialias system for really smooth brushes. Version 0.71 goes on to fix some bugs such as not being able to use selections when revising, and potentially fixes the 'brush stops working' problem. Hm. I don't like this one as much as when I started. I always end up drawing while I'm way zoomed in, so the whole image looks kind of weird. I did all the lines and colors on one layer and then the background on another one.

This reminds me of Grandpa's photography and some of the pictures he did. In fact, you've done a couple other things that sort of remind me of his work, too. Grandpa always really liked you. The thing I like about this piece is that it's so clean; clean with a simple touch of nature's beauty.

I like this LOT. It does look a lot like Dads work. I like especially the way you treated the cracks between the boards. They are not just a thick black line between the boards, they have depth, with just a little hint of light behind them. Good work son.

I have no idea how some of you get the lines so smooth when you do this... I tried it and it looks like somebody with palsy did it. I'm just sitting here wondering what it would do for the picture if she had a shadow of some sort?
