I like this a lot, the high contrast in the shading really grabbed my eye. Pretty unique. The lines are good too, not obtrusive but still definitive.

So, I was trying to add a mini-tutorial on Shi-Painter to the Wiki's layer tutorial page. I tried to log in using the name I thought I registered with at the Wiki's conception, but it said there wasn't a user by this name. I looked around and couldn't find a way to register. I bet it's staring me in the face, too.

This is awesome. Great job on the glowy effects, the little sparkles really help. I also like how the background has depth, and the leaves are well done. Such a cute fairy girl. :D |

thank you everyone ^\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\^ and for Rukia : Well, I spend a lot of time looking at kimonos and the like before going to work, so I could get the right feel and see how it looked, though I mixed everything and made up my own, that goes for colors as well.

This is beautiful! So detailed, wow! I just read "Memoirs of a Geisha", so this is especially eye catching after my head has been filled with similar images. (although none as extravagent as this!)just had to fix something that bugged me

So much warmth, beauty and grace, I couldn't escape her.Everything is what I offered her and everything is what she became. But, so I found out, she was never meant to be with. Once this was known, there was no rekindling the flame. In my mind, she remains so vivid, attempts to forget her and her love have proven agonizingly difficult. I was left with unrequited love, a curse so consuming it plagued my every thought...but why? and for who? I was naive, not recognizing she was damned when I first met her. She was blind and lead me to be blinded myself, this is the way of the damned. Strong poison are the damned, their sickness lingers way too long. I now know it is better to reject the damned.
