The tiger is the symbol of darkness and the new moon. When a "tiger totem" enters your life, expect new adventures.....it will awaken new passion and power. "Tiger people" do their best work at night. They are very sensual and passion people and dedicated parents. Your best work will be done at night. Tigers are associated with water, and have all the properties of the element of water......healing, power thru gentle flow, feminine energies...."lol" . I found this interesting bit of information about tigers online....so I thought I'd pass it on to you all out there.....:) I'm not quite finished with this pic yet.....I want to "mess around" with it some more.....but I'm afraid if I mess around too much ....I'll end up "messin' everything up...."LOL"!! I'm very good at messing things up....haha. Anyways.....this tiger is far from perfect.....but I thought it might be fun to try drawing it.....I used a "ref" pic... I'm posting this as finished......but I'm gonna work on it more later.....I tried doing a couple of things to it, but it didn't look right, so I'm done with it for now......I need room in my "unfinished" draws gallery anyhow.....:)

Thanks enirroc.......I still plan on doing more to it......I just don't feel like working on it anymore at this time. It still doesn't look "complete" to me.....so I'll have to fix it later. I'm trying to get my "unfinished draws" gallery cleaned up....
enirroc (Mar 21, 2010)
Well I'm sure it will be fantastic when it is done, I'm looking forard to it. =)
CookieMonster (Apr 4, 2010)

Just wow.

firecracker (Apr 4, 2010)
Thanks cookiemonster.....I'm glad you like my tiger.......I still need to do more work on this.....but I have to get "motivated" first....."lol"!! :)

Well.....a couple of years ago, my sister saw a small snake down near the end of our driveway, and she reached down to grab it, and she saw it's tail.....it had a rattle on it's tail, and it was making that "rattling" sound .....so she knew not to touch it. It was a baby rattlesnake, and it crawled away, and she couldn't find it again. That's kinda rare to find a rattlesnake in our "neck of the woods"......we never even see any garter snakes around here.....I don't know where that baby snake came from......we never saw it again....:)
enirroc (Mar 22, 2010)
I'm from washington state myself, and a couple years ago my brother and I found a a rattlesnake in the woods near our house, it was really cool, but it freaked me out a bit. I love snakes, but I like rattlesnakes from more of a distance. lol
lynnandcharlie (Mar 22, 2010)
me too, I am used to handling garter snakes and had no idea that there were rattle snakes around, I am from washington state as well

Today I was talking with some friends of bald women (one considers shaving). Anyways, I was thinking of this picture that whole conversation.

Every once in a while you come up with this piece I must return and see again.
Flubbles (May 2, 2010)
99% of bald woman are lesbians, and I think you'll find this to be a fact.
shults (May 2, 2010)
Might be, but she belongs to that one percent who just hates the Israeli climate so much she's willing to sacrifice her hair. I think.

Note, I'm not religious in any way.

Edit: I lost interest in this, and want more room in my studio. So it's done enough.

Ameear (Apr 4, 2010)
Does this really fit his caricacture?
enirroc (edited Apr 4, 2010)
I don't think it does, being as I don't think the real jesus would have been so white considering his place of origin (if I actually believed in the man of course), but I do think I did a pretty good rendition of the popular 'white jesus' type.

And if you mean in a more personality based way, I'd say sure. the people of our day and age deserve a holy flip of the bird.

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want......He maketh me to lie down in green pastures....He leadeth me beside still waters....He restoreth my soul. He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His namesake.......Yea...though I walk thru the valley of the shadow of death...I will fear no evil....for Thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me....Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.....Thou anointest my head with oil.....my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.....and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.......Amen". This is my very favorite psalm......so I thought it would fit in with this pic. I like it better than the psalm that the ref pic had written. Anyways......I'm not finished with this draw.....I'm having problems getting the tools to work right. I don't know what is wrong....but the colors are not working like they should.....the colors look faded out to me....I don't know how to fix it, but I'm trying to draw anyway. Well....I took Elly's advice and used the dodge tool to lighten it just a little....and I like how it looks, so I'm posting this as "finished". Thank you all very much for your comments....I appreciate it.....:)

Thank you "all" very much for all of your nice comments....I really do appreciate it......I'm glad you all like the scripture and the pic......the 23rd psalm has always been my favorite psalm. I'm gonna try to work on it some more.....I'm havin' problems with the tools.....things just aren't working the way they should. Elly.....I'll try using the dodge tool to brighten it up a bit.....but the ref pic is pretty dark......but I'll try it and see if it looks better....thanks. I did try the dodge tool, and it does look better I think....it brightens it up just enough to make it look better......I'm satisfied with it now, so I'm finally finished with this draw.....:)
elly (Mar 19, 2010)
MUCH better! even tho it was just a very small brightening, it gave it just the right amount of 'pow'!! Glad it worked out!! And don't feel you have to follow your ref pic's to the 'T'....I never do! That's the artistic part of being an artist! LOL!
TumblingUpwards (Mar 19, 2010)
I like the depth in this, the glow is beautiful.
firecracker (edited Mar 19, 2010)
Thanks "elly"......I'm glad I took your advice......it does look better with just a "touch" of the dodge tool....."lol"! Hi "Tumblin'up"......thank you very much for your nice comment.....I'm glad you like the pic....:)
