Another option for the author of the book I'm illustrating the cover for...

edit: just curious to see if this loads completed or as a white screen like it does when I try to reopen in chibi. Need the space in my studio!!!!!!

It's nowhere near identical, but that doesn't take away from the fact it's a really good attempt! to do something anywhere near identical it would take you days not hours, good drawing though.

I'm not a realism artist but I know what would make this better. Use the 'airbrush' tool and smooth out the thick bush strokes. Then add some pores so they look like a real person. (not a supermodel) That's about all I see.
