enjoydot is correct, it is a mixture of those things; and to different people it means different things.I have no blood family,really, and the "family" i had years ago,was destroyed because one of the main members died.Unfortunately it just reminds me of all the people who are gone and dead. its common to get depressed in later life,I found out, and that's one of the main reasons; everyone dies. yeah, Xmas reminds me of all that.

Hugs for you dotty. I always get grumpy around Mother's Day. Now that is getting pushed down your throat as well each year more it seems. "Here, a great reminder that your lovely mother isn't around anymore. And we're going to shove that fact in your face with each commercial you see.".

Hey everybody, I have been working on a new web-app for a while now. Today I released it: webchemy You draw in the browser, but the crazy thing: works like a charm on iPad and iPhones. (Android not quite so perfectly) A bit of additional info: It's based on the desktop application Alchemy. So kudos to those guys. :) Also, Webchemy is open source. Let me know what you think! Native children from a neighborhood in Jerusalem, the color photochrome ref was made between 1890 and 1900 in Israel. It had less colors.

1948, but that's just the state, not the land of Israel. There were residents before, under the Ottoman Empire (until 1917).

you won't believe what I did to mine: somebody bought me a 22 pound turkey. I cut it up in a sterilized sink, with a sharp knife, like a chicken into different pieces; I put it in a large pan, covered it with red wine up to its neck, and put chopped onions and garlic in; and after a while, at 325°, I added chopped up, two fat tangerines, and their skin; I cooked it a little too long. But mostly it came out divine! I had the most fantastic onion soup flavored with red wine, with a hint of orange, and no alcohol. All the alcohol got cooked out, and all the wonderful red wine flavor was left in the flesh. It really did please me, I can still cook. Turkey a vin. And it was fun, but I hurt my back. Ha ha.

I don't know if you know this, but a little trick I like to use on text is to put it on a separate layer and then use the move tool to slide that layer around therefore placing the text exactly where you like. Oh, and if Texas ever does secede, would it be too late for me to move there?

Texas..the only state that was once a sovereign country..The Republic of Texas. It has its own power grid. It would likely do quite well on its own.

That's one thing I did happen to know, Dan.... :), I used the layers and the move tool. I was playing around with the fonts. And of course you can move here, you're a Texan at heart so it's never too late. |
