Wow, it looks real. The actual picture is simple but very very detailed. That bench looks a little like my kitchen bench!

My heart was all but slowing down.
But I could barely make out the sound.
It was my personal symphany.
Striking the cords for only me.

Nice to see one of these comic doodles without a something really vulgar. This one made me laugh out loud. You're a funny guy, Dan.
Miss_DJ (Nov 14, 2007)
I always thought it was a reference to one's penis getting bent, which of course might not be a nice thing, depending on just HOW bent we're talkin' here. lol
lori (Nov 14, 2007)
when we say bent around here... either something's really bent, like ya know, bend over rover.. or, someone will say, he is really bent, like he's pissed off about something
xwindflyer (Nov 15, 2007)
Origionally, I think it ment "get bent of shape over something". Like when someone was critisizing you for saying or doing something, you'd say "Oh get bent".

A problem with jtablet. Help?
Laureka (Nov 12, 2007)
I can't seem to find anything on it... I recently had to restore my computer to factory settings. I re-downloaded jtablet, but this time around it isn't working. Does anyone know a solution? I've already tried rebooting the computer and reinstalling it. Thanks to anyone who can help.

erm, if there is a grammatical error in the title, please let me know, because french is not my first, second, or third language... XD

This is the "top half" of a project I've been working on. There is a second painting of a girl that can be placed below this picture (her hair connects with the "root"/trunk of the tree, which is why it looks like it's going off the page), and can also be placed to the left of this picture (the flowers in her hair morph into the petals, which connect to the tree from the left). This week, I've been working on color planning for this painting (series of paintings), and thought to myself: Planning out this step on Marcello's wonderful website will be a good way for me to organize my thoughts and work out the details. So here I am. The theme is supposed to be "Black and white, with red accents" but like everything else in my life, I've been putting too much focus on the reds.

I haven't really decided what to do with the background yet, other than it's going to be predominantly black and white, hopefully with high contrast. Plus, my hand is starting to hurt. So I figure I'll leave it as is for now. :)

I see a man that just stepped out of his apartment after a long fight with his girl friend. She wants him to continue taking night classes at the local technical institute but he doesn't feel he's cut out for it and wants to quit. He's content with his cashier's job at Walmart and he's pretty certain he can convince his boss to give him a hefty raise in a couple months. As he smokes his cigarette, pondering over the argument, he hears his girl friend crying and turns his head towards the door, which brings us that very moment, seen above. OR, maybe he's smoking a crack-laced joint and keeps seeing hallucinations of a dead clown raving in the next room. The clown is sporting nothing but a few strategically placed glow sticks in his butt and some poorly made balloon animals tied around his penis. All the while, the clown keeps screaming "jigga, jigga, booo!." Am I close?
Axil62 (Nov 11, 2007)
I like the first scenario.

Mine goes like this:

I see a teenage boy that came home from school via skateboard only to find his mother strung out on the couch again and he can't bring himself to go back in there and watch the train wreck again, he slumps down against the wall and lights a cigarette and ponders leaving here for good this time. No more weekends and a Monday at a friends house, no, this time another town, somehow, somehow.
Kloxboy (Nov 11, 2007)
Well there it is. And perhaps he'll think to himself "Well, hell, once the liver disease and lung cancer takes hold, none of this trivial bullshit will matter to me anyway."
MelissaMissy (Nov 11, 2007)
Cool, I like the dark colours.
