The photo ref I painted this from is from the photographer's private collection, the woman pictured here is his wife. I wanted to paint from his online DA photo gallery and even commented that I intended to do so. Out of the blue he hit me up on MSN regarding his photos and me painting one. He showed me this private photo and suggested I paint it instead. I think it worked out nicely, she has many qualities that look good painted, even digitally. |

You shouldn't say mean things staci. Dave has been a supportive artist here who deserves a lot of admiration for his kindness. The reason he gets so many comments is because he has gained the respect of so many people who appreciate the comments he makes on their drawings. I'm no exception...

So leaving phony ass positive comments on everything (no matter how shitty the drawing is) so that no talent little shits will like you, is pure bullshit, Arique. So you can take the whole "I'm gonna leave a nice comment on so-n-so's because they left one on mine" and shove it up your ass. Oh, and another thing Dave, must you end EVERY phony comment you make with an exclamation point? I don't have a ton of patience either.. I work on mine for a few minutes at a time..or a half hour most...and just keep doing it until I can't think of any way to make it better...everyone works different speeds.. some can do a masterpiece with a few lines and a few minutes.. some can't....It took Michaleangelo years to finish the Cistine ceiling...just work until you're tired and let it go for awhile..then come back when you feel inspired.. ((Jilly)) I dunno.. you just seemed like a Jilly to me
