An interesting suggestion for improving the site
mikron (Sep 15, 2006)
The beauty is in the eye of the beholder and therefore I suggest that there will be a quick voting system for each piece with negative and positive voting buttons (2 buttons). If the piece has 5 more negative votes than positive votes, then the piece will be transferred automatically to a lower level board, and the votings for that piece will be nullified. Of course that double voting won't be allowed and will be enforced by saving a list of users who already voted to the specified piece. ...

You Rock Clox... Hendrix was great... You de man..
TheCrimsonKing (Sep 1, 2006)
I was listening to his stuff recently to. I never really realized how unique to him and the band their music is. I don't think it's possible to get the same sound as the band did with the same music. Like the Chevy Silverado commercial that came out in the late 90's that used a remade version of "Voodoo Chile", it sucked. The recording quality, placement of instruments, solos, and vocals are done in such a way that the music doesn't sound cheesy, even though it really is. Frank Zappa has that flare for writing and performance as well. No shit, they're musical ninja's, but I think few people appreciate the work & experience that goes into such music.
I really like your portraits of musicians. Especially the one you did of Bill Bruford. :)

Jimi Hendrix is awesome. :) Great portrait.

And the individuals travelling there are, of course, called "Sliders"...wanted to try a mystical approach, will change the style of castle soon, i realize it may not be an "appropriate" design to some ppl at this time.

Could go on and on with this, it was a lot of fun =) ...credits to Miss DJ for some of the crystal technique.

When we were little my cousin Lee once took a dump outside under a big oak tree near where we were playing with Tonka toys and when it began to stink too much, he ran to the barn and came back with a quart of yellow paint, poured the paint all over the fresh turd to seal it and make it stop stinking so we could keep playing.
davincipoppalag (Sep 9, 2006)
