Sweetcell (Jun 24, 2007)
Axil made a poppa joke.Green is the new blue. I like the green around the hand, looks like he dragged his hand down and smuged it. |

I never heard of that before, Kayos. I'll go tomorrow yo the art-shop and ask for it. Thanks :)
Axil62 (Jun 18, 2007)
Kayos: Are you talking about using oil pastels and using rubbing alcohol to work them?
Deino (Jun 19, 2007)
Lovely :)
Sweetcell (Jun 22, 2007)
That sounds like an interesting technique Kay, something to try. He's sitting near the fire, hears a rustling, turns on his light, sees a snail. Oh how I love the way you paint. |

Somehow Brokeback Mountain comes to mind.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jun 21, 2007)
The last time I made pudding it was chocolate, and it was homemade from scratch, and it was two days after I had a hysterectomy. (just a partial one, but it still wasn't any fun) When the bowl slipped from my hands because I had my fat toddler niece Caroline wiggling on one hip (she weighed like 11 lbs at birth...big lil' girl) this was much later and she was a lot heavier, and I was trying to move the bowl from the counter to the table...it slipped from my hand and crash, break, splat... broken glass and chocolate pudding on the floor, the the cabinet doors, the walls... it was like a chocolate pudding atom bomb. I immediately recalled the parting words of my funny spectacle wearing little old ob/gyn surgeon... "No lifting... no sweeping, no mopping, no vacuuming, blah blah... for at least 6 weeks"...... haHAH... so just for fun, I called him at home and said "HEY"!!! I was lifting my fat niece and I dropped a huge bowl of pudding on the floor. You said no lifting, no mopping... here's a reality check, doc... there's no one else here to do it, should I put her on the floor and let her play in the broken glass and pudding while you drive over to baby sit and mop? I hung up on him while he was laughing. :D I managed to clean up, but we both had "pudding pants" before it was over. I have no idea how this was intended to be interpreted, but that's honestly my take on the lovely work of art. Doctors are sooooooooooo stupid, but pudding pants can be fun, anyway.
Axil62 (Jun 22, 2007)
I just realized how this could be taken if you follow the revisions and use a little imagination, hence the brokeback Mountain comment, but no, Just began as a guy at a bar, then for no reason he was saying butt, then I didn't like the smoke in v1 so I redid it and while I was there I changed his expression a little, then I decided I only liked the smoke part so I went with that and then I heard Ray Romano from Everybody loves Raymond call his wife Pudding pants on TV, so I put that in. |

hummm, yuh. this is him, if you can recongnize him, pretty hard portrait i should say. Altough it is not complete and refined, i will leave it like that, just beacause i dont want this to ressemble the photo. Ah and by the way. computers are way too easy to use. i think drawing on paperi s the real deal, its easy to do a portrait, but how hard is it to remember proportions and get the hang of the human body, i could practice 3 hours a day i still would cry all night long cause i cant do what id like to do :P
JK-Arts (Jun 19, 2007)
Indeed computers are getting pretty easy. That aside you use itt well enough to make some great art.
davincipoppalag (Jun 19, 2007)
You got the likeness in there
Sweetcell (Jun 20, 2007)
I have to say the only real thing that makes computers easy to use is the undo button. You know how your sketching on paper, make a mistake and your hand automatically reaches for an un-do which is no-existent Well there's the erasure, but that's more delicate. This is nicely done, has a watercolor feel to it. I know you weren't going for exact, but it's fairly close. His right eye's smaller than his left but it's a quibble. Which scene was this from?

-Fito Paez http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6F_I8d0Qtk&mode=related&search= Too lazy to translate the song...

What else can I dowhen the tears have all been wasted? And the only voice you choose to hear Sings the songs of our hearts breaking Say your dreams, they all have changed Well, my smiles, they all have faded And the thoughts that used to seem so pure in my heart, they now feel jaded Because I wanna feel like I did And I wanna feel innocence What else can it be except this pride, I'm sick of drinking Storm clouds all have gone away Can we stop this thing from sinking? Because I wanna feel like I did And I wanna feel innocence And I want you to know, and to feel in your soul, that someone has come and gone I'm stuck up here with you I never thought we'd get this high I used to be afraid of falling Now I'll spread my wings and I will fly I wanna feel like I did And I wanna feel innocence I wanna feel like I did Oh, I wanna feel innocence, oh. I... Hootie and the Blowfish My photo reference: http://new.photos.yahoo.com/deadlyblondearcher/album/576460762310485602/photo/294928803036230195/2

Thank you. :) You know, all these years my Daddy had never seen any of my digital art, and he came over recently, this was one of the things I showed him. He never once said anything about the "art" or if I "did okay"... He smiled at this and said... I remember that... and you were always the prettiest, happiest little girl. Then he kept smiling. I guess that means I did okay, here, I'm still not sure. :)
