Before looking at this pic I didn't realize just how thirsty I'd become. Pour me a glass. Oh yeah, leave the bottle.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Aug 10, 2004)
nope, not a student in art school manga... took private lessons as a child and have a couple of artists in my family who taught me.. I've been painting for almost 30 years.

Harry Potter fanart. The Marauders (from left to right: Peter, Sirius, Remus, and James) are up to no good again. Tried to draw them leaning over the Marauder's map and casting lumos, but the picture didn't turn out the way I wanted. Argh, not up to my usual standard. The colors are too greyish and dull looking. Done with the mouse from scratch. Too tired to try and improve it more so here it is.

This is inspired by a figurine I saw in a magazine. This is dedicated to my oldest daughter Felicia (meaning joy or happy).

Any ideas for a background for after the main part is done?

That's very cool. Love the colors and how it looks like they're trying to grab a lazer beam. Sweet dreamies dear Zep.
davincipoppalag (Aug 9, 2004)

I love the trees and the ground vegetation! This is a great picture, I love this kind of scene and you did it really well!
Gigge (Aug 9, 2004)
Hah, Marcello. I've actually heard that the silver lining is on the inside of the cloud. But, I've also seen clouds split open with a knife so that the silver lining is visible and the light peaks out a little like it does here. Very pretty, DBA.
Kasha (Aug 10, 2004)
sometimes I don't want to comment on your pics because you have too many comments already. COMMENT HOGGER!

Aubrey (Aug 9, 2004)
Family Guy is hilarious and the dog is the funniest one in there, along with Stewy. This is great just for its subject matter let alone the cute lil drawing! lol
Gigandas (Aug 18, 2004)
I'm probably about the only one who hasn't seen the show^^;(I know, sad isn't it???).Whoever the character is, I'm sure you drew him pretty well :).Now isn't that a dog everyone needs?Brings you a coffee and a newspaper to you every morning or is that for himself^^;;;???
ak.to.v.his.di (Feb 20, 2005)

I didn't like Super Shredder.. they shoulda just let him die lol. Ninja turtles were great Fleet. Me and my brother and sister used to be totally consumed in them.. like if we ordered a pizza we wanted the place that made the droopiest slices just so we could be like the Ninja Turtles with their droopy cheesy pizza lol.
fleeting_memory (Aug 8, 2004)
haha awesome Aubrey, my brother and I grew up on turtles too
laurael (edited Aug 8, 2004)
This is great, FM! I was suppose to do a Shredder awhile ago, but this one will do quite nicely...way to go!
Gigandas (Aug 18, 2004)
lol, I was just about to say "God, I bet laurael would love this pic!" :).*turns to laurael for a sec*You still gotta do your Shredder too though ;).You did an awesome job with this one XD.He's got his infamous "game over for you" pose goin' here.

-Btw, did you get my last memo^^;?I didn't get a reply, so I don't know whether that's a good or bad thing......but I hope you aren't too depressed that you can't even write me back :(...

They say he probably drew himself as the Mona Lisa because the facial features are like exact duplicates.. that's fascinating to me. To have that much speculation about your artwork hundreds of years later. Amazin.

Anyhooo this is great and the sock bunny is very pretty. Cute as a button! lol
DMV (Aug 9, 2004)
Thanks everyone:) Did you know? the sock bunny is part of American history?...
Ok..maybe I made that up. LOL!
davincipoppalag (Aug 10, 2004)
Ahh Leonardo da Sweatsock's masterpiece! The enigmatic button eyes have been a topic of discussion for years. Great work D@!
Knockoff (Aug 10, 2004)
