This is one of my original characters, Akki. She has been caught, probably stealing something.Oh, btw, I got the idea for this from the cover of the Paul McCartney/Wings album "Band On The Run"

not too well done, but i am kind of a critic of these things.... the eyes need more expression and shading, cause they look a tad bit flat. so does the hair. the mouth should be a fatter isosceles triangle that is higher up on the face and doesnt hang down below the jaw. ehhe... i like the background though!( oops... the neck also kind of sucks... and the head is too flat. and if you were going for anime style hair, it should be bigger and pouffier...) |

I lightened the colours, it was far too dark. Now 'tis bright and happy!!! :)This is Sunshine, a character in a story I'm writing. She's twenty-one and lives in London, England. The pic is kinda sketchy *big surprise* but I like the shading. C&c or I shall not be happy. :( |

This caught my eye from Ari's Gallery, and I have to say, graywolf, you created a nice effect by blurring the lines like that. I really like the results -- and I consider them very inspirational, in terms of giving me ideas about how to use the tool to better effect. |

Anyway, the story is kinda short but 'tis v. sweet (methinks):
This kid I know, Ian, has liked this girl, Gail, since fourth grade, but he never had the courage to ask her out. Today in PE we were doing this stupid 50's dance where the guys have to dance w/ the girls *bleah*, and Ian picked Gail (it was "guy's choice"). Then when they were dancing he asked her out (I was dancing near them and when he asked her he went RED RED), and she said yes. It was so sweet methinks, but I'm too sentimental I know.
anyhow, good job....
