It's dumb, I know, but I had to submit SOMETHING. Well, I hope you all aren't too disappointed...I hope its alright...this is my first drawing...

ok ok this needs a *lot* of work. the shading in the tree is ok but theres more than one piece to a tree. go look at one, theres a million leaves. yeah ok so you might not have to draw *every* leaf but try some textures. and mountains, hills, and the sky arent all white. fill them in some. try different colors.

try harder. -_- (or i'll dance around menacingly..)

I really like how you got it took look good even thought you used really thick brush strokes.
Not too sure about the background... It don't go....

that's pretty good. I like the shading on the tree. do you see the one of a deranged looking tree that's a few pics above yours? that one's mine. so you see, yours is fabulous compared to mine

ohhh thanks for the suggestions, peeps. this was a sort of practice with light and shadow. i think i'll do another silhouette pic, taking into account everything you guys said. yay for constructive criticism! ^__^

it's already an awesome image, like the mood and the composition. one thing i might suggest if you want to work on this further is adding a little light coming through the blinds, like red sunlight or something, then you could add some details but still keep it shadowy. but really nice all the same :)
