The background should be made into wallpapper , It's very fun . A todler's room would light up with personallity.

Beautiful face, cmb! Love the whole look...especially her mouth...
Alicia (Jan 16, 2004)
The dark beauty glanced across the room. She knew her presence was felt as she flashed her deep baby blues longingly. Her rosey lips refraining from speaking or uttering her secret thoughts.:)

cmb (Jan 16, 2004)
I like this a lot alicia, Im not here much- the boards are great but it takes a bit too much time- I do prefer the speed of The Other Place- lol

Alicia (Jan 17, 2004)
Great to hear from you all ! This pic reminds me of my grandmas oil palette. It always had different blots of color on it.

I just don't think it's good enough for intermediate yet, I need to be able to draw things with more clarity.

Two fishing ships getting their last catch of the day as the sun sets. Reminds me of a painting I saw once, but I can't remember who painted it.

kinda frustrating isn't it... can't remember the artist at all let alone the painting...
Alicia (Feb 8, 2004)
I enjoyed this so much, It is perfect for a poster on my wall. I love it ! :)
Coolsoft (Feb 13, 2004)
thanks, but for a poster, It'd be kinda blurry.(especially at that resolution.)
Cordelia_Pink (Aug 13, 2004)

I was experimenting with the water-color tool. Impressionistic style art with a lighthouse on a hill and a beach.

Needs a little bit of help on the cliffs, and maybe I should just let everyone else criticize my art.

looks nice. what's the thing in the top-right. it looks like it can't decide what or where exactly it is (more definition perhaps?)
Lalaland (Dec 15, 2003)
this is sooooo awsome! you should move onto intermediate!!!!!! I luv it!!!!!
Coolsoft (edited Dec 19, 2003)
Marcello: It's a lighthouse, but I didn't make the drawing larger so that the top could be seen because there would be too much sky in the picture. I probably don't draw stuff quite clear enough because I'm near-sighted.
Alicia (Feb 8, 2004)
I like the blended warm colors that project through this pic. The light house reminded me of a column left behind in Roman times.
